Chapter 6

Sunbus got himself disguised as a man and dressed up like a guard.

The guards made sure the horses were ready for the search, and they rode on their various horses to the exact place Ravi and his companion left with the help of the guard that escaped showing them the path to take; they arrived at the site and saw their guards on the ground.

Sunbus came down and observed the place with his powers, and all of a sudden; he felt a great power that was used; he saw blood on the ground close to the tent, he used his ability to make it float in the air, and since he extracted some influences from the queen of the Crystallites, he was able to detect the blood is that of the trustworthy. Then he said to himself in a low tone, "So, they are now united and working together; what an excellent beginning, but I will make sure it ends on a sad note."

He laughs evilly, "I was bored in this mortal land; this is going to be interesting for me, The Zangles, trustworthy companion and the Crystallites, just a step and I will get to end your race and possess what actually should be mine, I believe lord will regret ever giving the powers to a mere mortal, now you see how weak they are."

Sunbus called all the guards and told them they might be a bit far from here; whenever a Crystallite is awakened, they must surely be a hideout for them.

"Now, your new quest is to locate the place they are; Jon, the hunter's friend we are searching for, will be in this quest with you all."

 "Still, my lord," one of the guards spoke, "The palace from here is a great distance, and we need to catch up with them; how is it possible to get him here? It will only delay the quest, my Lord."

Sunbus watched him for about 60 seconds, and he apologized for speaking, "You lucky I am in a good mood now, watch and see for yourself, he flipped his finger. Jon's appeared with the chains he was chained with, and all the guards got scared, "Anyone who got any doubt this time around should step out."

 None was bold, and he said, "Good. Jon, you remember telling me you could bring me your friend Ravi. However, you failed, but I am giving you this chance; deceive him, and make him come to you but make sure you target him alone; if he's with his trustworthy companion, he will be able to detect you are lying; take this weapon, used it to kill him and bring me the bracelet."

Jon shakes in fear; firstly, he was surprised how he was teleported from the palace to this place; he had a rethink and remembered how Ravi was good to him; he couldn't kill him; he developed boldness and spoke to Sunbus, saying, "I am sorry to question you, my friend is just a hunter, I can't kill him, he has done no wrongs, the bracelet you told me he has maybe we can get a new one right ?"

This provokes Sunbus, and he uses his eyes to bring him up and suspend him in the air. Now the man's disguise he was using fades as the actual Sunbus appearance comes back; his red face and eyes spark the fire, and he shouts in command, "How dare you to question me, mortal? I am the great Sunbus, and no one dares question my command."

"You are just a child; never you speak of the bracelet like that ever again or talk to me in this manner; I don't give second chances, but you are just lucky I am giving you another chance; I would have used your blood as wine and burn your body into ashes and dust it in the blue ocean where your identity and existence will never be remembered."

As Sunbus kept on talking in anger, his voice echoed in the forest where they stood, trees started uprooting from the ground, the ground started shaking, almost bringing out the fire, the guards were all on the ground in great fear; Jon's pleaded with him, everything was rotating in circles as a heavy wind started. Sunbus finally dropped Jon's to the floor, and the atmosphere became normal; Jon's held his heart because he thought he was almost dead.

Sunbus commanded the guards to stand in a circle which they obeyed instantly; they started having different thoughts; some assumed he wanted to kill them, but his actual intention was to raise his dead recruit to go with them; this brought out more fear in them Sunbus walked into the middle and drew an image on the ground, then he used his finger and tapped the earth and all of a sudden the never imagined things took place, the ground started shaking, thunder lighting hits the ground the area became a bit dark. 

When everything returned to normal, someone brought out his hands from the land, one of the guards fainted, another guard started vomiting, and the others trembled in fear; the dead recruit began to come out from the ground; they looked scared, they walked to Sunbus as they bow down to him. 

He said, "These are my powerful dead recruit; I want you all to go with them; mere mortals are weak, make sure you defeat The Zangles and bring back the powers."

One of the guards heard this and thought of escaping, he assumed no one saw him, and he ran as fast as his legs could carry him only to see Sunbus at his front, he got shocked,he knew he had met his dead-end, he knelt and started begging for mercy. 

Sunbus responded, "Sorry to disappoint you, mortal; time for a second chance is exhausted." Sunbus used his powers and told him to continue running, he continued begging, but he shouted at him, "Run since you are good at it; as he was running, unknown to him, Sunbus released a lion to devour him when he heard the roar, he knew he was dead.

Now, the dead men started entering the body of the guards, and Sunbus made them sleep but will be awakened when the mortals were finished; this was the best way to provoke them; immediately, they entered the guard's body, and they all slept.

A few minutes later, when they opened their eyes, they couldn't find Sunbus standing with them; it seemed he had left, so they got their horses ready again and started tracing the Zangles and the others.

Lux and Ravi assisted Ricci in building huts and tents for crystals to stay, and they also found some ordinary villagers stranded and decided to help them as well; they were mixed up together; Ravi taught some hunting and brought meat for them to eat, the people where all happy and all thanks to them. 

They had a celebration that night. Ricci had a bad nightmare; she saw the village been attacked by Sunbus, he killed a lot and Ravi was almost killed by someone she couldn't see the face, she screamed in the dream unknown to her that her scream woke up Lux and Ravi.

"Are you okay?"Ravi asked.

"Are we under an attack? Let's protect our people." She panic.

"Calm down." said Lux, "no one attacked us, we heard you scream, and it woke us up. Are you alright, Ricci?"

"Oh, it's just a dream; I saw we were attacked, and they almost killed you. Still, I didn't know the face of the person."

"Don't overstress yourself, Ricci; no harm will come to us; let's get some sleep; okay, we have a lot to do tomorrow,"

"yes, Ravi is right," said Lux.

" I don't know our quest yet, or maybe we are meant to give the people a place to stay. After that, we might know our next mission," Ravi added.

"Okay then, good night," said Ricci.

The king was jubilating because of what Sunbus promised him; he was going to make him immortal, "I can't wait to know how it feels to be immortal; I know entirely well they must have found them and killed them as well and will bring the bracelet to Lord Sunbus then I will become immortal, thanks to the ancestors for making an immortal like Sunbus to come to me."

Teresa and her friend Genevieve started planning how to eliminate Sunbus; they were tired of the sex maltreatment. 

Genevieve is scared of the plan, "You know his very powerful; what if he founds out now and kill us?"

"That can't happen; if we both work together, we will succeed, and he won't know.."

"So we need to poison his drink cause he will ask for his drink before he calls on us to his chamber."

"Yes, Genevieve, we will hide the knife in our clothes; this time around, we strip naked by ourselves and avoid him using his powers on us; immediately, he starts thrusting you; I will stab him from behind continuously; it's that simple you see."

"I hope it works cause this is worst than punishment; how can he have sex with both of us for hours without getting tired? I want to be free from this." Genevieve cried.

"it's okay stop crying; it will work; now, let's get ready."

The guards finally saw the place they were hidden with them tracing the blood; they noticed they accept commoners, they had to hide their horse and kidnapped some of the villagers and put on their clothes in disguise as they tried to monitor Ravi, to make sure he was alone in other for Jon's to complete the task and then leave immediately.

They watched them, but they didn't look suspicious at all; even Ricci couldn't find out; time was no longer on their side, they deliberated to handle it the hard way by attacking them, but some refused, "Let's be patient. He's going to be alone."

"I hope so."

"Jon's can go, and you Jon's don't dare act funny once you get the chance cause I will make sure to kill you myself before our Master will do so." Jon's nodded.

Finally, Lux had to get some essential things for the villagers in the forest; Ravi was alone already; Jon cut himself and walked so that someone else would pity him, then he shouted, "Ravi."

 Ravi was happy to see his friend, he hugged him and asked him what had happened, and he told him the king's guards had attacked him. He managed to escape that they were looking for him.

Ravi felt sad that even his friend was in danger because of him; that was when Ricci came in and asked who the person was; Jon's got scared; he thought she was the person that could detect a lie; Ravi told her," his name is Jon's my friend, his a hunter like me. He was attacked as well."

" I don't trust him," said Ricci.

"Don't worry, no harm will come to me; I will join you later; I need to discuss a lot with my friend, okay?" And she nodded, and Jon's felt relieved.

Jon's started telling him all kinds of stories to believe his lie, which Ravi eventually believed, he tried using the weapon on him but stopped when he saw Ravi turn back, and they continued discussing.

He looked for a perfect means to distract him and to make use of the weapon; he felt terrible for Ravi, his faithful friend, but he had no choice but to kill him; Sunbus is powerful, and no one dares against him; who knows he might be watching him now using a magical mirror he guessed, he got perfect timing and raised the weapon about to strike.

Lux started having signs; he hadn't been comfortable, so he decided to meet the others.
