CHAPTER 5

They mounted on the horse and put traps on the borders of Narnia. They even put high walls made of brick stones to make sure that nobody can pass through. When they returned, Prince Harry went upstairs to practice using his magic. He never gave up even though he was already exhausted. Yet he was not able to master it.

Chasing his breath, Prince Harry got pissed off about himself. "Damn it! I really need to master using this magic in a short span of time. There are many things left for me to do!"

Princess Dianne, who was watching from the corner got worried about Harry so she approached him.

"Please do not push yourself to limit. Mastering magic ain't something you can do over night. You should rest!"

Prince Harry was stunned to see her so he refrained from practicing. "Pardon me, I just could not help but to remember what happened earlier. I am still offended with what I heard from the Narnians. It seems like the previous prince of this nation was really great!"

"Prince Malik has been known as a brave warrior. He has been protecting this nation in his entire life!"

"I see... and the moment he woke up, my duty as the substitute prince is over-"

Princess Dianne covered his mouth with her hand. "Please do not try to compare yourself with someone from Narnian. You grew up in a different world where wars between nations don't exist!"

"Well I will disagree with that. The world that I lived in is full of bullies!"

"What is bully?" Princess Dianne asked.

"The one who mocks other people just for fun. I guess no world is perfect. I actually envy you, Princess Dianne, you are loved by your nation and certainly, you've got many friends as well!"

"Yes, but things like that do not matter in this nation. Our priority is to win every war, nothing more and nothing less!"

"The things that you don't value mean a lot to me. As a matter of fact, I don't really have friends when I was on the planet Earth. By the way, I forgot to mention some important things I think you need to know!"

"And what is that?"

"According to the goddess who brought me here, I need to win this war in order to return to planet Earth. She told me that I was on the verge of death but because I was summoned here, my life was somehow spared. Honestly speaking, I no longer have a reason to return to Earth because that world has been cruel to me but I cannot afford to lose this war either!"

"Listen to me Harry, my father has always taught me that all the people have the right to live. All you need to do is to find your purpose in life!" She advised

"On planet Earth, I was only 18 years old but I became older here. I lost my family in a car accident and since then I was by myself all throughout my life!"

"Find another way to live your life. I believe that you deep inside your heart, there is still some reasons for you to live for!"

Harry looked at Princess Dianna and he realizes that his purpose is to serve her kingdom.

He looked above the skies, cupped his eyes, closed his eyes and concentrated. "I will find another way to live... for the sake of this nation and for the sake of Princess Dianne I need to become strong!" he thought on his mind.

After that, he fired his lightning attack up above the skies. To his surprise, he succeeds in casting the lightning. Not contented by this, he fired several lightning attacks to test if he really succeeds.

Princess Dianne smiled at what she has witnessed. "Finally, you are now able to cast your magic. I am beyond happy with it. Now, all that is left for us is to execute your other plans for this nation!"

"Indeed, this would never have happened without your help. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for cheering me up Princess Dianne!"

Out of excitement, Joe gave her a warm hug as a way to express how grateful he is.

"I have come to realize that there is so much more to love for. All you need is to take inspiration from someone or something!"

Princess Dianne smiled. "It is not a big deal. At least I somehow removed the negative energy from your body. I mean it, I am sorry if you were the one chosen to have this kind of life!"

"No... I wholeheartedly accept my fate. And I look forward to staying here for a very long time as the substitute prince. I'll take an oath to serve this nation with everything I've got!"

Solomon then arrived and kneeled down before Princess Dianne and Prince Harry.

"I am sorry for interrupting but the dinner is served for both of you. This is a long day for everyone and tomorrow morning, Prince Arthur will be working twice what he did today. Therefore I highly suggest that both of you should eat and rest!"

Princess Dianne looked at Prince Harry. "Solomon is right, let us call it day. You can eat in your own room. I am not hungry so I will be resting. I shall see you tomorrow again!"

"Alright Princess Dianne, please do not stress yourself too much with nearby enemies. I am the one who is responsible in making sure that this country is safe from them!"

"I expect no less than that Prince Harry, starting today onward you are not alone anymore. I am not just a Princess but also a friend, when all of this is over, we will throw a festival!"

"You don't have to do that but thank you for suggesting that. Please take a rest!"

Princess Dianne turned around and two soldiers accompany her to her room. It was such a long day for her.
