"Mom, would you kindly refrain from talking about him completely?" Mary was the one who promptly put a stop to Georgia Smith. Following that, Mary got up and invited Alex to join her for breakfast. "Come, have breakfast with me," Mary said.

"I've decided not to consume any food." Alex gave his head a slight shake before responding.

Mary made a beeline for Alex and cried at him, "Don't act like an idiot!" as she approached. "Alex, what I said the other day was, in all honesty, a wee bit extreme. Please don't take it the wrong way. After all, you were the one who was being made fun of, but I didn't give any consideration to how it could have made you feel. Yet, since you are a guy, you really shouldn't be concerned with such petty issues given your status. Let's just let it go. I ask that you take a seat and enjoy your meal."

"There are some things that I will never get over."

"To be more specific, what do you mean by that?"
