MIRIAM'S BEDROOM

A desolate Miriam talks to Sandra.

Sandra determines, "We better talk here from now on, because of that rascal that is spying on us. From the look on your face, the conversation was not good. Did she expel you from the circle?"

"Not yet, but I'm almost out if I don't make peace with Carina."

Sandra slaps her hand on the mattress expressing anger, "Typical of Monica! How she likes to be controlling! What did Célio see in her?"

"I don't know, and that's beside the point. What really worries me is that I told Monica that it wasn't true that I slept with Carlos... And she didn't want to believe me!"

"What do you mean? Do you tell the truth and does she believe the lie?"

"Bizarre and surreal, but that's it!"

"Do you see, dear, what made this foolishness come up?"

"Yes, and I deserve every slap you give me."

Sandra likes to be told that she is the boss. She responds with an inflated ego, "Okay, honey, let's calm down. As I said, you must stay in the group and in the campaign
