Chapter 75: At Will

“SIR.” August, as soon as he got back to his senses, immediately stood up and extended his hand to the old man. “It was nice to meet you here.”

The man in front of him was no other than Jake Sandoval— Someone he didn’t expect to meet, especially to approach him, in his lifetime.

He was wearing a black business suit, making August have the conclusion that he had just come out from a business meeting.

“I can say the same thing,” said Jake as he took August’s hand, and shook their hands together.

August smiled, but lightly grimaced as he felt a sudden pain on his hand when Jake gripped it tighter than usual like he was trying to intimidate him at this moment.

At this point, he was glad that Jake had the same aura as Charles, so he wasn’t that nervous.

Or at least, it doesn’t show for now.

“Can I sit here?” Jake asked again as he pointed at the vacant seat in front of August. “I also wanted to ask you about something.”
