182. The right thing.
After the victory in the city of Newgriffin and Oldgriffin, though, the soldiers were still very agile to march to another city and retake it. They were ready to continue into another battle without resting, but King Luca was not going to allow that to happen.

He ordered that they take some moments to rest so as to avoid fainting in the field when they go up against their enemies.

While they observed the little rest as they also prepared to march out again at dawn to reclaim another city which their enemy had dominated, King Luca had to bring up the unfinished conversation which he was having with Eric before it was changed.

“Eric, you still did not tell me why you seem unhappy after the fight.”

“Of course I was happy.” Eric still chose to keep what was going through his mind to himself.

“Come on Eric, I know it when you are hiding something and this is one of those times. Talk to me.” Luca kept persuading him.

The moment Eric was about to open up to the King, Zach walked in.
