Chapter 33

Kang’ethe and his group of people finally arrived at Lampa to find a very sorrowful situation. Some people had perished of this disease and many more were infected. Without much waste of time, they got down to work.

Finally, Kang’ethe and his wife Jacinta laid eyes on their long lost daughter. It was a moment of joy as this family reunion was taking place. They had so much to share and talk about but they could not do so until a later time because the people needed a cure.

As they gave cure to the people, Martin and Kang’ethe were talking about how all had come to happen.

“Martin, allow me to ask; do you believe in the existence of the gods?” asked Kang’ethe.

“If you asked me the question some weeks ago, I would have said they do not exist but I have a different feeling now,” replied Martin.

“Why do you say this son? What made you believe in the gods after all the years of disbelieve?” ask
