Silas returns back home. He sees Mrs. Alex in the sitting room. She is dressed in a brown gown and sipping wine.

“Welcome,” Mrs. Alex said silently.

“Thank you, mum,” Silas said, sitting on the couch.

“How was work today?”

“It was fine. What did you do today?”

“I ate, watch films, slept and now I am inside the sitting room.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. Your schedule is not complete.”

“What do you mean?”

“You never read your bible.”

“I will do that in the night.”

“It’s better to read one’s bible very early in the morning.”

“Thank you, son. I will do that tomorrow.”

“Really?”

“Yeah. Go change your clothes and come and join me inside the dining room.”

“Alright, mum.”

Silas stands up from the couch. He kisses his mum on the lips. He picks up his briefcase and leaves the sitting room.
