Time to leave!
Once he reached the top, Gideon was taken aback. He expected to be greeted by gunfires, however, everything was in the utmost silence. That wasn't comforting, it was worrying.

‘What the hell?' he thought and crouched down, going into some shade. Of course this was an ambush, but he couldn't just stand by or pretend that everything was fine. He would be extra careful.

Arming the weapon with his elbows close to his body, he continues to walk, sneaking along the wall, but being careful not to pass through any window without crouching.

There wasn't any noise and it was bothering him deeply. Then, he could hear a muffled sound. Not voices, a voice, or rather a snarl.

'Wanda', he thought and his chest got even tighter. He really hoped none of those men had had the nerve to touch her. 'She is mine!'.

Gideon's impulse was to run straight to her aid, but he needed to control the impulse and think! He carefully approached where the noise was coming from and used the camera on his cell phone
