"My Queen...My Queen...we must go..."

Miranda could hear someone call to her but she was unresponsive. She was the queen, was she not? She had taken the crown, only for her to experience the greatest tragedy of her life. She could barely breathe. There was a tightness in her chest and her mind was not with her.

"Miranda!"

Kevin called to her again and she came back to her senses. She slowly looked around her and one more time, she was hit by the smell of blood and alcohol. She saw the masses of dead Lords on the ground, only one or two who did not drink had managed to survive the attack. Those were shaken and they clung to each other like leeches.

"We caught one of them," Kevin said to her and she nodded.

"Bring them to me." She slowly replied and shut her eyes, feeling tears stream down from her face. Lord Henry's head still lay on her lap and though he was as pale as chalk at that time, she was still fixated on his handsome face that was now stained with blood.
