Dawn Rise Again
The coast outside Dereckland hasn’t been calm these past few days. Every few days, looking into the distance, I see Viking boats with curved noses like snakes slithering on the sea. Every time he went up to the watchtower to deliver lunch, Levis faintly overheard the soldiers’ conversations over jars of wine and bacon.
