22. Boss' Friend and Diary

With the man’s confession, they have confirmed that Cesar had faked the death of Xavier’s family to know if Xavier is still alive.

If Xavier failed to control himself, he probably fell into Cesar’s trap again. Thanks to Gian, he avoided the catastrophe.

Xavier walked out of the torture room with the relief. He was happy to know that Cesar could not find Bridgette and his son. However, he felt so damn disappointed in himself.

While he was dragging his feet on the floor, Gian bumped onto his shoulder. Xavier did not wince, and instead he only looked at Gian, who was walking away from him.

Gian did not call him ‘boss’, and he did not even look back. It is obvious that he is so mad.

Halting his pace, Xavier only stared at Gian’s back until he completely disappeared. If not because of Kija, he might stay standing in that place forever.
