23. Gaining Sympathy

Odeen Slyvia, codename Dos “Spade”, walked inside his office with a face that looked like an angry bull. As soon as he sat on the sofa, he grabbed the vase on the center table and threw it on the ground.

The vase dropped onto the floor and shattered into many pieces.

Holding his horses with a puff, he tried to calm down.

He was so mad that Gian embarrassed him in front of everyone.

“How… How dare he… That young rude b*stard,” he swore.

Setting aside his anger, Spade remembered the most important thing to consider. He started shaking his leg and then tapping his finger on his lap.

“I was sure that he died,” Spade uttered through his gritted teeth. “The boss died already. His body was set on fire that day. So, why is he still alive?!”

Just like what Gian suspected, it was Spade who planned to abduct the boss and kill him. His men said that they burned Haiden’s body. Therefore, when Gian gathered the members and showed that the boss was alive, Spade was so bewildered.
