"Young Master... About meeting the lord," As Alfred drove Mathew back home, he suddenly spoke.

Earlier this afternoon, Alfred called Mathew after the classes ended to inform him that the lord wanted to meet him. But Mathew decided to push the conversation for a while and meet Martha and Tom instead.

But now that he had met them and confirmed everything, Alfred wanted to remind Mathew about the meeting.

"It's fine... We are already going home. I will talk to my father face-to-face," Mathew again tried to brush off the topic.

"Why do you think my mother abandoned me?" Mathew interrupted Alfred and asked, "Was she so disgusted by me that she would rather leave than spend a day with me?"
