Chapter 23

“That was really something.” Richardson murmured after some time, being the first one to break the silence.

Tom shrugged his shoulders a little. “Could have been worse, to be very honest. I believe most of them just held back because of your grandfather’s presence.”

“Great. Just great.” Richardson muttered with a long sigh, reminding himself to steer completely away from that side of his family until when completely necessary.

Tom was once again scrolling through his list on his phone, looking through Richardson’s schedule.

“The meeting with the lawyers is next.” Tom announced after a few seconds.

After a few more hours, Richardson was finally done with his schedule for today. He bid Tom off and decided to drive around the city on his own, in a bid to clear his head.

The song playing from the radio was a really horrible hip hop which he switched for a cool melodic RnB song, and then he lost himself to the song and the early evening breeze.
