Chapter 24

Richardson’s heart was thumping fast as he flew out of his car, running towards the front where he had hit someone.

It hadn’t been his fault. He hasn’t been going at a ridiculous speed just because he could, it’s the person’s fault who had decided to cross the road at that moment.

A gasp flew past Richardson’s mouth as soon as his landed on the unconscious body lying on the floor, right in front of his car.

It was a girl.

A young woman, rather.

He quickly checked If she was still breathing and sighed in relief on feeling a pulse at her neck. He was thankful that there hadn’t been much blood on the ground.

A few people had alighted their cars in curiosity, and one of them had assisted in getting the girl into Richardson’s car.

Once she was successfully in, he quickly drove all the way to a hospital, one of the high class ones which he had desperately wished he could take his mother to, but had been unable to because of his lack of money.
