"Wow! what a hit that hurt Jack said standing up, "haaa! jack shouted as he rushed toward Anthony, jack punched Anthony but his fist punched the air as Anthony dodge his blow and kicked his legs and jack was unbalanced and fell face down to the ground.

"Over, a win for our teacher" Gary said pointing at Anthony, "and a loss for jack," Gary said with laughter in his voice.

Jack stood up from the ground and dusted his clothes, "hmm guess I still need some training" jack murmured silently.

Training went well, as usual, Anthony spar with his students and taught them more sword training and since they had never battled a demon, Anthony taught them where to strike and ways to kill a demon.

Jack on the other hand mostly watched as Anthony taught them because he was never interested in swords and isn't going to start liking them now.

Anthony sat down near jack, "don't you want to join in?" Anthony asked him, "no I don't like swords, and besides when will my toy be given to me?" jack asked Anthony.

"That is for Damien to decide and not me." "And you can't kill a demon with those gadgets you know right", "yes I know" jack stated, "then how are you going to kill a demon outside the wall if you knew that?" Anthony asked.

"I was going to wait for you guys to do the killing, I was going to be a backup" jack replied, "wait jack are you afraid?" Anthony questioned.

Jack looked at Anthony with eyes that confirmed what Anthony asked, "I'm not afraid, I'm never afraid just that I've never seen a demon" jack said.

"I've heard rumors about them but going outside the wall sounds like a death wish," Jack said and he smiled, "do your students know what they signed up for by joining the scout?" jack asked looking over at the students' training.

"Yes they do," Anthony said as jack looked at him, "do you know why they are not afraid?" Anthony asked jack, "no" he replied, because "they believe in their skills and they believe in me".

When I told them that they were part of the new scout and were going outside the wall they were happy and then Gary asked "when they were going, "I initially thought he was just excited to go" but then "he told me that he wanted to know so he would train harder before that day arrive."

Jack didn't say anything and was immersed in his thought when the door opened, Anthony and jack looked to see who was there, "sir Damien request your presence" a young mage told Anthony.

"Is something wrong?", Anthony asked worried, no the mage replied, "he just wants to get you an update", "maybe my weapon is ready?" jack said smiling, "I'll go find out" Anthony said as he stood up to leave, take a break guys?" Anthony told his students.

"Argh"

Maria shouted as she lay down on the ground, "are you that tired?" Nathan asked her, "yea aren't you tired?" she asked, "sort of, I'm going to get something to eat am famished," Gary said as he stood up to leave, I'm coming with you both of them said.

Anthony arrived at Damien's lab and found him looking at jack's metallic arms, "you called me" Anthony said as he walked inside, "I know who built this" Damien said with worry in his voice.

"It was an apprentice of mine many years ago," Damien was suddenly feeling down, "did something happen to him?" Anthony asked, he wanted to use make machines powered by a magical orb to defeat demons and the demon king.

Then what happened Anthony asked anxiously, he wanted to use human brains to make the machines Damien replied, "human brains I don't understand" Anthony said, "he wanted to sacrifice humans and remove their brains then transfer them to machines so they can be controlled" Damien said.

"I couldn't allow him to kill innocent humans even if it was for the greater good so I destroyed his research and sent him away" Damien explained, "I didn't hear from him ever since so I thought he was dead", "how did you know it was his?" Anthony asked Damien.

Look here Damien pointed at a symbol of a lion's head on the metallic arms, Anthony's eyes widen as he saw the symbol, Damien noticed it and ask if he recognizes it, "what is this doing here, did the doctor make this Anthony said out loud".

"What doctor, what are you saying?" Damien asked, Anthony, pulled off his top to reveal a symbol of a lion's head identical to the one on the metallic arms, what! Damien was shocked.

"How did you get this?" Damien asked clearly he was confused, "did your apprentice have a little cut mark on his left cheek?" Anthony asked Damien, "yes! how did you know?" Damien asked

"Your apprentice was the one that created me," Anthony told Damien, "wait I don't understand if he was the one, that means he found a way to travel through universes," Damien said, both of them looked at each other shocked at what was happening.

"So you were human once but now" Damien stopped halfway, "so I was murdered by the doctor and made into an android" Anthony was now angry.

"But how did jack get this weapon that means he either knows the doctor or he stole it," Anthony said, "the latter seems impossible because if he was researching secretly they is no way his equipment would be stolen" Damien concluded.

"So jack will know about this" Anthony said as he left the lab, Damien followed him as he was worried he would do something stupid.

"What are you going to do now?" Damien asked Anthony, "I'm just going to question him a little" Anthony told Damien as they both walked to the training ground.

They arrived quickly as they were walking fast almost running, the door opened and Anthony and Damien found jack training his hand to hand skills, jack turned and faced them he could feel the atmosphere tense among them but didn't know what was wrong.

"What is happening?" jack asked thinking something was wrong, "who made your weapon for you?" Damien asked, jack didn't want to answer, "answer him?" Anthony shouted, "my dad gave them to me," Jack said.
