Chapter 43: A Life For A Rise.

As both the figure and the receptionist finally reached, the elevator’s door opened up and in front of the two was an ongoing club party. The receptionist looked back at him saying, “follow me dear sir.” The figure nodded as he followed the receptionist’s lead.

The two went through the crowd and were able to make it to the stairs that led to the VIP rooms. They were able to walk pass the guards, after some security check and get to the hallway of the VIPs but they also walked pass all the rooms there till they got to the terrace.

The receptionist then gestured him to get in, which the figure did. The figure walked in and found a fancy table setting of a meeting table and he could see a figure staring at the night sky with s glass of wine in his hand while seated.

The figure was able to notice the guest’s entrance and stood up. The figure approached the guest slowly with open arms and spoke, “welcome to the Club 98, cousin Jay Albion.”

The guest taking of his nose mask and face cap, finally revealing that he was Jay, Eugene’s best friend, the replied, “its good to see you again, cousin Axel.”

In front of Jay was a guy who had on him a majestic blood red robe with gold lines on it. His hair was radiating the same blood red colour.

A handsome looking fellow with a sharp jawline. His hands still spread wide as he slowly approaches Jay but for some reason, Jay wasn’t pleased at all to meet him.

“Don’t greet me like that. Being poured water and sand and being almost bullied every single time we have an Albion family get together.” Jay complained.

“Come on beloved bro, things do happen for the good of people.” Axel replied as he finally came close to Jay and gave him a hug, which only to Jay, did he feel the creeps.

“I still don’t know why I stuck with you but anyways let’s just get straight down to business.” Jay suggested.

“Wow, really? So cold as ever ...............”

“Yeah, says the one who is so heartless to plant a microphone on my back.” Jay cuts in as he was able to take off the mini mic from his jacket while showing it off to Axel who just turned to face him with an innocent smirk.

Then, Jay continued with his hate broadcasting, “I really do hate you A.C.A. brothers, I don’t even know who is going to win but anyways, I just want to be in a position, higher than my older cousins.”

“Let me correct you, there can be only one A.C.A. in this group and absolutely, I am the one guy.” Said Axel.

“Are you guys still on each others’ necks? Why don’t you cooperate with each other and rule over the Albion Group together. Doesn’t it sound more cool to hear that the presidents of the Albion Group are, the A.C.A. brothers!

Axel the Rouge and Abel the Playmaker! Come on, think about it more, that will strengthen the Albion Group than all this internal conflict.” Jay suggested.

“Sorry but father promised that only one of us twins are going to gain the president’s position.” Axel replied with a hint of sadness in his voice.

“Huh? The Chairman did? No wonder, because I just don’t understand why my two bullies became such sworn enemies.” Said Jay as he was shocked by the revelation.

“Yes, that is the true backstory behind our rivalry.” Said Axel as they approached the table. He offered Jay a seat before having his and then asked when they both have settled down, “anyways, what brings you to me?”

“I have a deal for the chairman.” Said Jay.

“A deal? What for?” Axel asked as he was shocked by Jay’s words.

“Yeah, I can get him another key member of the National Congress in exchange of a promotion.” Jay explains.

“So, what you are saying is, you are here to have a deal of ‘A Life For A Rise’? And when I said ‘A Life’, I meant yours.” Axel warns.

“Uhmm, I already know about that, so there is no need to remind me.” Jay shrugged off the warning.

“I am really being serious here right now. Just even listening to your plan or plans of accomplishing your goal is enough for the Chairman to decide whether to send you 8 feet deep.” Axel warn more out of concern.

“Yeah but this time, it will be really different but I will need to have his support.” Jay speaks on further as his arms lay on the table.

“Damn, someone wants a dead wish. Even if the Chairman let’s you to go on with your plan, you will surely die by the congressman’s hands.” Axel warns again.

“That is why I said, I have a plan. Here is the letter, just hand it over to him, it will be a shock that I will survive to see one of you guys have any of each others’ heads.” Jay said as he laid back on his chair.

“Wow, you really wish to see me dead, right?” Axel asks as they both laugh out loud but all of a sudden, Jay suddenly had a serious face on him and replied, “actually, yes. It will be my greatest pleasure.”

“Aren’t you afraid that might kill you here after saying something so hateful as this?” Axel asks as he glares at Jay.

“Then, Abel becomes the winner by default as you will be breaking the rules. There is no evidence that I attempted any betrayal. After all, don’t kill the innocent killer until proven guilty.” Jay warns with a mocking smirk.

“Wow, first, you fucked my receptionist in my elevator and now, you send me threats in front of me?” Axel asked as he felt annoyed.

“Says the one who had sex with the maid I told you I had a crush on, in front of me, when we were still thirteen.” Jay replied with an indifferent look.

“Oh, how amusing. Your letter will be sent to the Chairman, so anything else?” Axel asked.

“No, I’m done. I’ll be going back now, have some fun.” Said Jay as he got up and left while Axel glared behind him with eyes full of rage.
