CHAPTER 89: HOPE, NO MATTER WHAT

SARAH CAMPBELL POV:

“Huff…Huff…”

How long have I been running? My legs, they are so heavy.

After Will’s disappearance, I don’t think I have had any time to rest properly. After I ran away from David’s father with the girl who is connected to Will, bunch of monsters started chasing me out of nowhere. I can’t even tell I manage to survive their assault the first time.

Even now, more than two weeks later, they are still on my tail. Whenever I rest for more than four hours, I can hear them coming, stomping on everything as they look for me.

If I was alone, I would probably fight them, but sadly, I am not.

“Even after carrying you around for all this time, you are still heavy as hell.”
