Chapter 5 : Mystery of the Dungeons

Today, Olivia Rodriguez's luxurious house is deserted, because the owner is out with her aides. Xavier doesn't know what Olivia is doing out there, he is more interested in something hidden in this house.

The handsome man was still in his room, he took his communication device and then called Tom, "209 in. She is not alone, in this case there is a group that was deliberately created to bring down the government."

"Out. Very good information; keep watching the lady and keep us posted. If you need help, just let me know."

After the communication was lost, Xavier opened his cell phone. Yesterday he drew a car created by Alex that was beyond reason. Somehow he made a car with such extraordinary innovation. However, one thing that Xavier is sure of is that this car is not just one item; there are many others.

Right now the house is quiet, but that doesn't mean it's completely empty. There is still CCTV that Xavier doesn't know where it is, as well as several bodyguards who are still on duty to guard the house, as well as the presence of the biggest threat to him, namely Emily. Even though she hadn't been seen since the last debate at headquarters, Xavier was sure that she was somewhere around here.

There are still a lot of unsolved puzzles. One of them is the basement of this house. Xavier walked down the stairs and headed for the deserted pool area. There are only two bodyguards standing guard in front of the door, which forms the barrier between the pool area and the hall.

"I want to swim," Xavier said to one of the bodyguards.

Without saying much, one of the bodyguards led Xavier to sit on a chair beside the swimming pool. He gave a towel and said goodbye to prepare food and soft drinks for Xavier. The 28-year-old handsome man took off his clothes, and using only boxers, he jumped into the swimming pool.

Xavier swam as usual, occasionally relaxing on the water. At first glance, Xavier may look like he's just swimming, but his eyes are constantly observing his surroundings. He deliberately made a bodyguard who was guarding the door believe him. Until finally, Xavier dives into the water and traces the floor of the swimming pool. He didn't find anything out of the ordinary; even when he reappeared above the water, there were no signs of anything suspicious.

When the food and soft drinks arrived, Xavier got ashore and enjoyed the meal while sitting on a chair. His sharp eyes kept stealthily scanning the surroundings, but unfortunately, he still found nothing that looked suspicious.

However, suddenly, a bodyguard came up to two other bodyguards who were on guard at the door of the swimming pool area with a panicked expression. They immediately rushed into the house while running a little. Xavier got up from his seat, used the kimono towel that had been provided, and peeked from the pool area.

Xavier's brow furrowed as he saw the bodyguards gathering at the bottom of the stairs. They were not aware of Xavier, who kept watching them. Until finally, Xavier found what he was looking for, the door to the basement was located beside the bottom of the stairs, with an optical illustration that made it look like an ordinary wall, even though it was a door that could be opened and closed.

I don't know why all the bodyguards went in there, followed by Xavier, who was secretly following them. He opened the door, and when the door opened, he saw a fairly long hallway. Xavier went inside, following the direction of the hall. Along the hall, there are only abstract paintings and a few decorative tables.

His steps stopped when he saw the bodyguards going to the left aisle, while there was also a corridor leading to the right. Xavier was hiding behind the wall of the right aisle when he realized that one of the bodyguards was returning from the left aisle. After the bodyguard left, Xavier was about to head down the right aisle, but he heard a very loud scream.

"Help!"

The scream made Xavier's steps stop again, and he stared back blankly. The screams were very clear to his ears—the voice of a woman who seemed to be being tortured. But suddenly, someone grabbed him from behind, covered his eyes and mouth, and then dragged him to follow the figure.

Xavier opened his eyes; he didn't rebel at all when someone dragged him because he knew those hands were women's hands. He stared at the figure he had just recognized a few moments ago. Emily Rodriguez, the woman, glared at Xavier.

She tied Xavier's hands with a cloth; the ties were so tight that Xavier couldn't move. In addition, she made Xavier's body merge into the chair he was currently sitting on, so that the man couldn't escape from her at all. What a very intelligent woman.

"As I knew, breaking the rules is your favorite part, huh!" she snapped.

Now that the woman was wearing the same maid outfit as before, Xavier couldn't understand what she was doing here in that outfit. Then, how could everyone here not recognize her in that outfit?

"I'm just warning you—if you want to survive in this house, you have to be careful!" she exclaimed.

"Who exactly are you? Olivia says that you are her sister, but you two don't look alike at all. Then you're not part of that organization—"

"Is it important for you to know who I am?" interrupted Emily with a small chuckle. She drew closer to Xavier while touching the man's face gently and saying, "Come on, Xavier. I was too good to protect you."

When he heard his name being called, Xavier's body suddenly stiffened. His expression changed instantly; he glared at Emily. How could that woman know his real name when everyone only knew him as Mr. Extraordinary? She was always beyond his expectations and completely unpredictable.

"What do you mean, Emily?" Xavier replied, trying to stay calm.

"Jacob Brown? It's a nice name, but I prefer Xavier Walters," Emily said with a sweet smile. She touched Xavier's lips, and her expression immediately turned flat again: "Too bad these beautiful lips have come into contact with that devil."

"Who do you mean?" Xavier asked, getting furious.

"Do you know what scream you heard just now? I mean, could you think that it was just some animal screaming?" Emily asked back, then giggled. Emily stood up straight. She looked at the surrounding room, which was not too big but not too small. The room that is now his

"Explain it to me, Emily!" forced Xavier, who was getting annoyed. This time Xavier tried to untie the knots on his hands, but it was not as easy as he imagined to get rid of the cloth.

"You can never stop that demon, Xavier."
