Hi guys Sorry for the long break... I was 'discovering' things about myself. But I'm back now, ready to tackle the rest of the story. I hope you all enjoy the long-awaited chapter. Things are heating up. See you all next week.
In the beginning - before time existed - there was a vast expanse of space. This expanse of nothingness hosted a being, ALL, whose origin is unknown. With her magic - the original magic, Almighty - she created the universes, galaxies, stars, planets, suns, and all other spatial bodies. But this was not enough. She proceeded to create six beings from the natural elements around her - known now as the Six True Gods. From a ripped fabric of space, ALL created the firstborn son, Saint Alvis Ragnarok. From the darkness of the universe, ALL created the King of the Nether, Saint Lucifer Morningstar. From the light created by stars, she created the God of Light, Saint Venus Nirvana. From the recently created fabric of time, Saint Amey Gigante was born. From the concept of Life, Saint Sky Aerlogard came into being. And finally, from the concept of Death, Saint Sky Aerlogard's twin sister, Saint Anpu Dwargo was born. These six saints were formless beings tasked with creating realms. Saint Alvi
I sit in front of the demon, speechless. He told me an unbelievable story, but what stuck out was, "I am an artificial dragon?" "No, you are an Artificial Being. You have the DNA of each of the Six True Gods; however, since you were raised in Ragnarok, you only accessed part of your genealogy." "I find this all hard to believe." "Hmm. Ok, then how about I prove it to you? Close your eyes and focus on the area next to your shoulder blades." "What are you talking about?" "Just do it. Trust me." I don't know if I can trust anything this demon says, but he is the only person who has given me any answers. I close my eyes and follow his instructions. But after a minute of standing in silence, nothing happens. Just as I want to open my eyes, I feel something growing from my back. I open my eyes and behind me are wings of blood. "What is this!?" "Those are demon wings. A demon grows them when they reach adulthood. And since you are an entity that has existed for millions of years, you
"The greatest, you say. Just who are you exactly?" "I am but a demon who has lived longer than others. You will know my name soon enough. Anyway, I realise why you could not defeat Behemoth. You are not drawing out the power of ALL." "Not drawing her power out? What do you mean?" He searches the ground and picks up a stick. He proceeds to outline two bodies in the soil. "Inside every living being, there is a mana pool. To use magic, mana is drawn from this pool. However, in your body, there are several mana pools." "Several? Is that even possible?" "It's possible since you are an artificially created being. You have mana from all six of the True Gods and ALL." "I see. That would explain why I never run out of mana. But I don't see how I'm not drawing out ALL's mana." "ALL's mana has been sealed inside your body. This means her power is restrained, which makes you automatically draw power from your other mana pools. And since you only have portions of mana from the True Gods, yo
What is this power I feel coursing through my body? My skin has become tan, and I have wings that can't retract. They are reminiscent of fairy wings - translucent, with a beautiful spiral pattern. Not just that, but my vision has improved immensely - without using magic, I can see further than a hawk. I also feel strong physically. I walk to a nearby tree. I punch the air, which causes all the trees and snow in the area to disappear. "Did the trees just vaporise?""You have the physical strength of a dragon and giant. Your hair is dyed midnight black, your irises are blood-red, and your pupils are stretched-out like rubber. Your skin has become tan, like that of the giant race. Your height has shortened, which makes you look like a child. And you have a heavenly aura that places you in league with the Gods.""This is my new race? An Acceelos. I feel a power surge from deep within me. Is this the power of ALL?""Yes. You have merged the powers of every True God - which converged with A
The massive power source—belonging to none other than Behemoth—inches closer to us. "I will make myself scarce. Remember what I said: You are more powerful than him. Use your mind to outsmart him. And completely eviscerate him, to rid him from existence." "I will." The demon flies into the forest, and he erases his presence before Behemoth arrives. As Behemoth approaches me from a far distance, I look around at my surroundings. "A forest is not ideal," I say, travelling east—away from my original position. As I move, so does Behemoth. That's good. Follow me; you battle-crazed beast. I fly until I reach a spacious field of grass. I remain floating—my wings flapping crazily. Is it fear? Or excitement? I can't tell anymore. No, I jest. This feeling I have is something similar to what Behemoth feels. It is the feeling of battle craze. I want to fight against Behemoth. I want to beat him to an inch of his life. And when I do, I want to see him grovel on the ground beneath my feet. "His
The universe is vast. Within its ever-expanding depths, there exist seven realms. Leagard, the realm of humans and magical beasts. Dwargo, the realm of dwarves. Gigante, the realm of giants, ogres, and the like. Aerlogard, the realm of elves and spirits. Netherworld, the realm of demons. Nirvana, the realm of the gods. And Ragnarok, the realm of dragons. For many millennia, these realms have lived in peace, until the demons led an attack on the humans. The humans, who were weaker than the demons, were slaughtered like pigs. The gods, who loved the humans, could not watch the one-sided slaughter for much longer, and only after allying with the Elves, did the gods fight back against the demons. Their leader, who felt the pressure of the alliance, partnered with the dwarves - who, with their expertly crafted weapons and armour, equalled the battlefield. The war between the five realms lasted many decades. That was when the gods pleaded with the dragons and the giants to assist them in the
“Blech!!” Grandpa’s foot digs into my stomach. My body flies into a nearby mountain. *Cough*, *cough*, *cough*—I cough blood into the dust filled air. “Get up,” says Grandpa, standing next to me. I jump up, but he kicks my legs, and before I hit the ground, he kicks me in the same spot, sending me flying through the forest. “Grandpa!!” I scream. Before his kick landed, I focussed my mana around my stomach. *Cough*,*cough*—my coughs persist. I wipe the blood teeming from the side of my mouth. “I thought I blocked that kick perfectly.” “You still have quite a long way to go before you can defend yourself from one of my kicks, Haruki.” “Grandpa!! How could you kick me down after telling me to get up!!” This hulk of a man in front of me is my Grandfather, Emygdius. He is one of the oldest dragons in Ragnarök – his exact age is unknown to me, but from what I’ve heard, he has existed for aeons. He looks down at me with his signature stern expression—one he’s worn since he received the s
He appeared before me—a ray of hope. Or rather, a being of chaos impersonating hope. But before his appearance, a story needs to be told. For that, the clock rewinds to yesterday. It was a day like any other. In the courtyard of the Royal Palace, I stood face-to-face with him—my father, Judge Borneheimer. He stood idle, with his gaze fixed on me, and the tip of his sword pointed diagonally to the concrete. He held the grip of the longsword in such a gentle manner that a woman would become jealous just watching. His mannequin stance left no weak spots to exploit—it was a perfect defence. On the other hand, I stood with a stance full of holes. My form was rough to look at, like a paraplegic attempting to climb onto a wheelchair. With the blade stretching past my head, and the grip, held with both hands, seated behind my ear, I pointed the tip of my sword to Father. A small gust of wind signalled the start of a fierce clash of metal on metal. In an instant, I leapt forward to close the
