Volume 2. Chapter 10 Make Alliances

Rii, who was eating, was asked by Vail to switch places. Rii didn't mind, even though he asked what he meant.

“I don't know what happened and why Nema closed her eyes, but Vail asked me to ask Nema to open her eyes,” Rii said inside his mind, when he had switched places with Vail.

"You can open your eyes now, Nema." Rii, who didn't know, just followed what Vail said.

Nema opened her eyes, she was amazed that Vail could turn into Rii to help her.

“Love huh? Haven't heard that in a long time.” Vail, who was at home, immediately lay down on the bed.

"To think he approached you just to get information about your friend." Etina just appeared and sat at the window of the house.

“I didn't expect that earth elf had a hobby of eavesdropping,” Vail mocked Etina.

“How rude of you to say that, hero of Vail.” Etina walked over to Vail. And looked at him so pityingly.

“Don't look at me like a master looks at pet.” Vail felt uncomfortable with the way Etina glanced at him.

"Do you know? Looks like this is a good day for me.” Etina was very happy about something.

"A fine day?" Vail woke up from his sleep and was very surprised.

Not long after, Cini came home with a battered and sad face.

"Why don't you--"

“Sela already has a fiancé.” Cini interrupted Vail's words.

"Hah?" Vail was confused by Cini's words.

"Can you explain in more detail?" Vail asked Cini to tell him what he meant.

Cini said that Sela was engaged to Xein, she had already fallen in love with Sela because she thought there was no one in Sela's heart.

"Why did he deceive me instead?" Cini was so sad.

"Sela didn't wear a ring on her finger, I thought she was still single." Cini covered him face with a pillow.

"Did you confess your feelings to her?" Vail wanted to be sure.

"No, but while Sela was still locking my legs, Xein came and wanted to take Sela hunting," Cini said.

"Sorry, I don't understand--"

The sound of the door was heard again, this time Rii admitted that he had been tricked by Nema. And get new problems.

"What does it mean?" Vail was very curious about the problem Rii had encountered.

"Etina, since when have you been here?" Rii just realized that Etina was there.

"How?" Rii appears again.

"Already gone," Vail informed.

"Thank God..." Rii sat on the floor full of relief.

"Do I need to erase these memories and feelings?" Cini is continuing complaint.

“You, just because there is no way, are willing to give up. Look at Vail, he doesn't do things like that every time he gets tricked or taken advantage of.” Etina compares Cini, Rii to Vail.

"Can you not use me as a benchmark?" Vail complained at Etina's words.

At night. The village holds a harvest party to remember and forget the past.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, please eat." Xein brought grilled meat.

"Thank you," Rii and Cini took it and ate it.

"Mmm...this is delicious, this is the first time I've ever eaten meat this tender." Cini enjoyed the food.

Vail took the meat that Xein brought.

"What is it? Is there a problem with the meat?” Xein was curious to see Vail who was silently staring at the food in front of his eyes.

“It's like a Panagrolaimus Koly monster whatever.” Vail was so sure that the piece in front of his eyes was a worm monster.

“Do you want to disgust us, Vail?” Rii complained about Vail's words.

"Hahaha...you are great at knowing that," Xein confirmed Vail's words.

Rii and Cini, who had swallowed several pieces of meat, now felt nauseous and vomited.

“You two are so disgusting!” Sela saw Cini and Rii spit out what they had bitten.

“Why not tell before serving!?” Rii covered mouth with his hands, her eyes filled with disgust.

“We thought you guys already knew, and just ate it. But the meat is delicious, isn't it?” Xein didn't expect that they didn't know what they were eating.

"How about this?" Cini pointed to the meat beside Sela.

“Monster bats,” Xein informed.

"Then what is in front of Sela?" Rii asked to be sure.

“Rhynchophorus Ferrugineus Monster.” Xein informed.

“Why are all the animals unacceptable to us?” Cini complained.

“Even though it's such tender meat, you even praise it—”

"Please don't remind..." Rii didn't want to hear that.

Not long after, Nema and her fiancé came and joined them. And brought grilled fish.

“Is it okay for you two to leave the table?” Sela wanted to make sure that Nema and Jors' arrival would not cause problems.

“I already told the elders that I would be joining you,” Jors said.

"Moreover, Nema saw that Rii didn't vomit food," Jors told them why they had come.

“Vail, Rii, Cini. This is food for you because I know you will reject the food that Xein hunts for." Nema put down a tray of grilled fish.

“Just to be sure, is this a monster shaped like a fish?” Cini became alert.

"This is a real fish, Jors and I caught it in the river you made," Nema said.

Nema sat beside Rii, and Jors sat beside his eldest brother Xein.

Vail and Cini saw Rii's awkward condition, Cini peeked under the table.

"I feel sorry for Jors, his fiancé loves Rii," Cini said in her mind. He saw Rii's left foot being stepped on by Nema's right foot.

“I heard that the petition regarding your hunt has been withdrawn, and the human race is recruiting new troops,” Jors informed.

“That's true, but there are still some people still chasing us,” Cini said.

“Tomorrow, we will leave here,” Vail tells Sela and the others.

"What a sudden, even though you've only been here a day." Xein was a little surprised by the notification from Vail.

"Xein, do you remember when we went to trade in the kingdom in the north?" Sela tried to remind Xein.

“You mean the woman who is almost crazy? And asking people not to join the manhunt petition?” Xein remembered it.

“Your conversation seems fun, can I join?”

“Miss Etina!” Sela was surprised to see Etina just appear.

“I came to join in and listen to the conversation,” Etina informed.

"So what do you want to talk about?" Etina sat beside Vail.

“We're talking about women from the human race who went crazy from seeing giant wolves,” Xein told Etina the essence of his conversation.

“Giant wolf?” Etina asked with a face as if she had just heard it.

“….” Vail glanced at Etina.

"What's wrong with you two?" Nema saw Cini and Vail who were so frustrated.

“It's nothing, Nema. We are just happy to have normal food.” Cini told.

“Sure, I'll join you,” Etina informed Vail telepathically.

“What if we lose?” Vail is so pessimistic.

“If we lose, it means you didn't use your full strength,” Etina informed.

"Are you satisfied?"

"Naturally very satisfied."

“Eh?” Sela and the others didn't understand what happened between Vail and Etina.

They were confused by the words Vail said to the earth fairy Etina.

In the morning, the three of them decided to go back.

“Thank you for coming to our village.” Elder Norm was so happy.

“I forgive you because you have helped the village. But don't expect a second time." Elder Dein is still annoyed with Rii who tried to take his son's fiancé away.

"If I had known I wouldn't have accepted it either..." Rii muttered and it was still heard by Elder Dein.

"What are you saying?!" Elder Dein who heard Rii's muttering became even more annoyed.

“Iihhh! Nothing, nothing.” Rii cursed behind Vail.

“Before you guys leave, I want to ally with you.” Etina offers to ally.

“Alliance?” Cini wondered why they had to ally. Even though the agreement was made last night.

“With this, myself. The earth elf and ruler of the forest declared, and allied against the hero Rii, the hero Cini, and the hero Vail, as well as the kingdom of Gerna." Etina told all the Elves around her.

“We and the Gerna kingdom accept it,” Vail informed.

“We're happy to hear that, though. Shouldn't one of us tell the king?” Elder Aln said what he thought.
