“What did you just say?” Zyaire felt a stab of annoyance at his words.

“You heard me well, didn’t you because I have no plan of repeating myself,” Adonis muttered thickly.

“How dare you?” zyaire yelled at him.

“Don't speak to him like that! Didn't you come late last night as well?” Aubrey yelled as well.

“Quiet!” EverLeigh called them to order quickly. She was upset at the batter. Though she hates Adonis, she also hated the fact that Zyaire was insulting Adonis when he was supposed to show a form of table manners. “There will be none of it at this moment. We have work to prepare for. And you,” she looked at Zyaire. “Was Aubrey wrong to have said that? Didn't you come home last night or haven't you been doing that for a while now?”

Zyaire hummed in protest. “But-.”

“Don't say anything! If you had been serious with your life, I wouldn't have agreed to give Aubrey the post in the first place.”

Zyaire squeezed his head in frustration. “But this shouldn't be in front of Aubrey and hi
