On an Island full of huge boulders and deep canyons, a struggle between two parties was reaching its conclusion. 

An azure haired woman with emerald eyes and a buxom figure was being one-sidedly assaulted by a group of men clad in some sort of battalion uniform carrying lethal weapons.

They all have a pretty decent complexion, with most people being blond. However, the most evident feature signifying their heritage is the sharp long ears, confirming them to be elves.

On the other hand, the azure haired woman similarly has long eras but is nowhere near as pointy as the group of uniform wearing men.

The woman's condition can be described in a single word; pitiful. Cuts and brushes all over the body, torn clothes and blood pouring out from the corner of her lips.

The opposing group of men appear to be full of vigour and power; Neat clothes, no trace of blood or injuries.

At a glance, anyone can draw the inevitable result of the crisis, the woman odds of winning near none.

The leader of this group, a handsome man with long blond hair step forward in the woman's direction and smirked.

The woman's petrified at her spot. Eyes the man with clear dread.

"Why don't we stop this chase? And you obediently let us take you back? It will be less painful for you."

The man spoke arrogantly as if following his orders are the most natural thing.

"Never! I'll never marry that piece of trash. If you insist then I'd rather commit suicide."

The woman screamed with indignation, her hatred clouded eyes showing the resolve to follow through with her claims to surrender her life; the moment the blond man tried to use violence. 

"Humph, how dare you bitch! How can you refer to his highness as trash? I initially felt some compassion for you, so I offered you to surrender and end this peaceful."

The man's face turned severe; making the woman shiver from terror.

"I'll make you beg me to take you back to his highness, I break you thoroughly before presenting you to her highness."

The man said with lust evident from his tone and facial expression, staring at the woman's curvy body. The woman became even more afraid and bit her lips in frustration.

"After all, I only have to keep you pure there are other ways to enjoy~ hahaha..."

Hearing the blond's words and perverted laughter; a tear run down her eyes which exhibited an unusual glint of determination before they turned lifeless. She clenched her hands and with clear despair; gazed at her back. 

A canyon so deep the end is not visible after a certain distance everything is covered in a veil of darkness, the canyon is known as the bottomless abyss. The woman's position is roughly a hundred steps away; she planned to jump down into the abyss and leave her miserable life behind.

Alas, the strings of fate have schemed otherwise.

"Don't you think it's a little pathetic for several men to gang up on a lone woman and even act with such arrogance?"

Everybody heard an unfamiliar yet unknown voice full of contempt.

PUFF...!

Followed by the sound of a small burst, everyone overheard. Before the leader of the group of men, the blond man's head got blasted in a mess of blood and goo. This left the group bewildered which soon turned to dread.

However, the azure haired woman's hollow eyes reignited with a newfound glimmer of hope...

{1st POV, Ethan}

Alizée...

After listening to the name described by the system I remembered the unconscious azure haired girl; located where the protagonist will obtain the means to begin his journey. 

She is one of the very early targets, her difficulty level was only D-tier. She was an easy one, her timid personality and trust issues are great plus points. This keeps the majority of people not trying to get close. You only have to spend some time with her, earn her faith and give her some sense of protection as well. And...

'Wala...! You get yourself a lover~'

Well, it's only possible because she is a noob target. Later on in the game, the difficulty reaches a very hard level the more characters you try to conquer.

(System, can you judge the strength of this group?)

[Yes, the group is made of three beginners, two adapts; leading them is a master. But from his energy signature, it would seem he levelled up recently.]

Hmmm.....

The master will be not possible to win against in direct combat. Even without using magic, I can kill adapts easily. I'm a chaos dragon after all, with my immunity to all magic and superior physical strength being more than enough. 

However, the master is not possible. Higher mana capacity and body can only take you so much. To achieve the master stage, you have to master a certain force. Be it the force of fire, the force of ice or some weapon force like sword force; some even master multiple forces although they are a small number of geniuses mastering more than one type of force they typically have more than one elemental affinities. Only gathering more magic or training will not cut it. Masters can turn their mana into force to attack, it is a higher form of energy the difference in average is one drop of force= ten drops of mana.

Practically, I'm not his match in a fair fight. Even if he is new at the master stage.

'Who said I'll have to fight him fairly~'

I just have to kill the mobs and save the beauty, I'm not here to duel with him or something like an honourable knight.

It only took me a few seconds to think all this and discuss it with the system while flying in Alizée's direction.

I stopped above them about 500 meters away. They didn't sense my arrival as I hid my presence using super control. I can freely control the mana inside my body and suppress it within me, utilizing super control everything inside my body is under my rule; including mana.  

'Time to use the products of the system ~'

(Give me 15 body strengthening pills.)

[Understood.] 

'Now, let there be Carnage!~'

With this thought, I ate the pills. The next moment my body was on fire burning from the inside, it was like ants biting me all over. Using my multi thought process and super control I guided the energy and turned off my senses of pain while flying at a high speed toward the blonde man. 

I flew very fast a moment later, I was in front of the man and without saying a word I directly punched him on the head blasting his head off in a single punch. 

PUFF...!

The system announced. Killing is truly the best way to level up quickly.

"Don't you think it's a little pathetic for several men to gang up on a lone woman and even act with such arrogance?" 

I said after the man's body fall on the ground like a doll. He was careless and didn't even have some layer of mana protecting his body.

My words made the stunned group of men frown in displeasure which soon turns to dread when they realised the man I had just one shot is their leader meaning they are not my match. 

"Who are you? How dare you kill a lieutenant of our forest elves tribe?"

One of the men tried to use their background to scare me off.

"Yess..yes! Our tribe head is an imperial, the man you killed is his Highness's subordinate."

"We..we! Can let you go if leave now."

As if by a cue every mob began to ramble about to make me hesitate in taking their lives.

'No..can't do, you are my source of KP and XP~'

I thought and shook my head.

"You want to know why I killed him don't you?"

I asked them, they stopped trying to scare me off and nodded in agreement.

I smiled slyly and uttered with mockery.

"Just be because I can~

Same as you, I don't need a reason to kill an ant."

A moment after I finished, their faces twisted in anger hearing my upfront statement of disdain.

"You! How dare you, bastard..!"

"Son of a bitch are you saying we are ants?"

Another round of angry remarks was thrown by them. I decided to ignore all of it.

"Okay, we wasted a lot of time. Now you all can die."

Leaving those words, I jumped at the group. One of the beginners was caught by surprise, while the others retreated.

"No..no! Don't kill me..."

He spoke desperately. Trying to receive my compassion alas, it was fruitless.

"No hard feelings, don't take it to heart. Try to avoid the hero saving the beauty scenario in the next life if possible."

I grabbed him by the throat and broke his neck like sticks, taking his life in a single move.

[Killed a beginner stage, 1000 KP]

"Everyone, attack together let's kill this bastard." 

"Yeah, we will fight to the death."

Witnessing their allies death the remaining one's decided to fight me all together.

"Bring it on! Don't disappoint me."

I encouraged them this will my first battle, I wanted to enjoy it. They can't kill me even if I let them, Tiamat will teleport the moment my life is in danger.

The battle began with me enjoying the thrill and the elves giving their everything to kill me and stay alive.

Running up to another beginner who tried to hit me with wind magic I kicked him but he didn't die as mana was covering his body protecting him. But he spits blood. 

Another one hit me with a fireball, they are keeping their distance, as I can only fight them in close combat.

I chose to give up dodging and use my immunity to tank the blows and go close to them. I manage to kill the two remaining beginners this way. 

"Ahh..., No-no...please don't kill me!"

Level up.]

Some cuts could be seen over my body, as the two adapts are using spears. My immunity can deflect the magical damage but the sharp tip of the spear still pierce me.

Soon, the number of opponents left are the two adapts. They are using weapons and that is creating a problem as I can't close in on them. My lack of experience is also a factor, till now I was able to kill them with just brute force. Using super control I can increase the damage my attacks achieve but it's no use if I can't hit the enemy. We come to a standstill.

Glancing at them I saw they were close to exhaustion. Not wasting unnecessary time to let them catch their breath, I again tried to close on one of them, the man wielded his spear and thrusts forward aiming at my heart. 

However, I quickly changed direction and arrived behind the other man, utilizing super control to forcefully boost my speed and brutally kicked at his head separating his head and body.

My physique is continuously improving by the pills and my attack power and speed is too improving simultaneously. The other man left all alone man couldn't last for long and died with a huge hole in his chest.

I released a tiered breath, fighting with only my body against magic users is disadvantageous for my part. 

'Whatever, I killed them all...'

What surprised me was my indifference towards the life of others. This is the first time I killed in my two lives, I also took multiple lives but I don't feel any remorse, moreover, all I feel is they were not worthy to die by my hands. My self-esteem rose sky high as if everybody is beneath me, bowing to me is the most natural course of action. They should greatful than I granted them death.
