Xander obeyed the prince command to summon Barret and Gabriel to the palace.Barret already knew what the prince wanted to say and had already planned on what to say.when they were arrived before the prince they bowed their head.

"Why do you summon us prince Adam" Barret said. Adam looked at them trying to study them so he said"i called you here because you both were my brother closest acquaintance and believe we all know my brother is nowhere to be found and had been missing and...." he stopped looking at the both of them.

"And what my prince"Barret said innocently knowing fully well what the prince was about to say.

"I would like to know if my brother,peter ,told you anything about his whereabout" Adam said still trying to know his brother whereabout

" The king announced that nobody would have anything to do with, peter, and as the loyal subject that we are .we would never go against the king command cause our loyalty lies with the prince and no one else" Gabriel said touching his Chest. Not only was Gabriel a talkative he was also a drama queen.

"We all know your loyalty is far from my father's but instead lies with my brother Adam even Xander here knows that talk more of me, you know it will be treason to go against the king and the result is death, thisis the last in case say one of you have decided to speak up"Adam said intensely looking for any doubt in them but when he heard no reply

" I hope all these you said is true cause if I find out you both hid sometimes from me you will have me to contend with" adam said sternly.Adam thought that even if those two men knew anything they wouldn't say a word afterall you can take a horse to a river but can't force it to drink water.

Adam stood up walking towards the door and said to xander " those two are definitely hiding something, I do not trust them also have a tour round the human village and ask them about my dearest brother i have a feeling he's somewhere there"

"Yes my lord" he said slightly bowing his head

Carlos got off from his bed the house was no longer looking shabby as it used to instead looked lively but it was still without light,there was no need of light afterall vampires do not need light they have sharp sight. Carlos went out of his room and he saw Barret in front of his room staring at him angrily said " you were inside doing nothing have you forgotten that today is the day we have been waiting for!?". Carlos has been thought the etiquettes, manner , speech of being a royalty even the way he walks , he walks majestically.Carlos folded his two hands behind his back and said" worry not, Barret, I'm no longer a child i know what to do". When he went out Gabriel was already in a sullen mood because his little boy was leaving him but he knew it was for the best.

"Don't forget what you went there for, we won't be able to come see you cause it would be risky"Barret said looking at Gabriel to make Gabriel heard him.Carlos was feeling emotional but he didn't show it.He was no longer that little boy who was crying helplessly he Made sure to never show anyone his weakness.
