Chapter 64

"Hello," Daniel said as his smile faded into a thin line of displeasure. "I heard only Shelly was visiting you, so I thought of visiting you as a former classmate," he mocked.

Michael looked up at the watch on the wall; it was almost 10 p.m., not normal hours for a visitation.

"I have a friend who knows someone who works here," Daniel stated.

Michael's breath became ragged; if there were no bars between them, he would have not hesitated to choke the life out of the idiot.

"I heard George is hanging on to that useless company in exchange for your freedom?" Daniel went on mocking him.

There was silence, with Michael trying by all his means not to allow his anger to get a hold of him.

"You just have to say the word, and I will help you persuade your father to let go of the stupid company," Daniel offered.
