Though Zagthak had acted tough and unaffected when Hillslayer announced his forfeiting from the fight, he began down immediately the ogres were gone out of sight. Everything in him felt weak, and he was a bit confused on what to do next in order to win the fight as he still meditated on what Hillslayer said before leaving.

It took a while before he could regain his full self. Spending so long alone in the city of Riverston, he later got up at dusk, prepared himself and moved to the city of Northby where he would meet his other allies.

The journey to Northby was quite slow since he moved alone, but he still got there anyways. The city was void of humans as expected, still he couldn’t predict that what Hillslayer told him about Riverston had also happened there in Northby.
