CHAPTER SIXTY SEVEN.

It was already past midnight when Alex sauntered into the house, Clarrisa was still awake and the moment she heard the door open, she immediately sat up.

“You are still awake?” Alex asked while removing his shirt,

“it is so late and you haven’t gone to bed”

“Where did you go, Alex?” Clarrisa purposely ignored his question, “tonight is supposed to be our wedding night but you left me, why? What exactly was so important that you had to leave just a few hours after our wedding?”

“I told you it was something important” he hissed, “don’t you get it?” Alex was struggling to contain his anger, he didn’t want to make it look like she was irritating but her questions were annoying.

Clarrisa dragged her body out of bed and made her way to where he was standing and encircled his waist.

“I know you have a lot of business going on and I am not trying to stop you, I just thought it would be appropriate for us to spend the day together. We got married today and we have not even had the time to ce
