152: Blurred Truth

"Are you laughing, Austeen Takisuma?!" The man asked. His face was blurry, so I couldn't tell who he was.

"I will never give up to a mere Geromyerian like you,” I answered in my stuttered voice, forcing a smile. I took the blade that stabbed me. “I won’t let you happy. I’ll hunt you to death. I am certain that I will achieve the victory in the end,” I said and threw the blade he used to attack me. He didn't expect that; ergo, he couldn't get away. It hit his heart.

I forced myself to stand up and watched his weak body slowly fall to the ground.

"Forgive me, Austeen,” the blurred man said. “Take it...” He offered me a small stone. “You are one of the best Geromyerians I have ever met."

"Sir?" I called him, taking the stone he was handing to me.

"Save him...” He said, pointing his right index finger to another blurred figure not far from our direction. “Save my brother...”
