Ethan's hands were clasped at his waist as he realized what Grace was saying was actually something he wanted, for Laura's happiness. However, Ethan thought giving up Laura was the same as giving up on this.

"Unfortunately, I'm her legal husband and still love her. There's no definite reason why I should divorce her," Ethan replied.
"But if you don't divorce her, Ravensville will suffer the consequences," Graces explained.
Ethan laughed softly, bringing his face forward to whisper something to Grace in a voice filled with a real threatening tone, "I don't care. You're screwed along with all your dreams.
