Ramon couldn’t believe his eyes. In a thousand years to come he would never believe that Whitman, who he picked from the street and trained to this level would show him this high level of betrayal and even have a gun pointed at his face.

It was just too good to be true and aside from all these thoughts, his heart was heaving heavily under his chest. It was as though he was having a panic attack.

“How much did Edward pay you? How much is your loyalty worth?” Ramon said with so much bitterness.

“Pay me?” Whitman raised a brow as though he heard a funny joke. “Seems like you don’t understand what’s going on. Edward is my brother, and we are going to take over Sterling Corporation to ourselves. It has to be ours regardless of what!” He grunted.

“You are not Sterling's son. Not you or Edward. Both of you are just bastard children who need to find their real father. Stop claiming that Sterling is your father just so you can exploit his wealth for your gain. It won’t go in your favor.” Ramon
