Chapter Sixty-One.

Declan dropped the gun and looked at Nathan’s limp body on the chair, riddled with bullet holes. He grabbed a handkerchief and wiped the gun clean before tossing it onto the dead body. He walked out of the warehouse walking to his car when his phone rang.

“Hello?!”

“Hey? What is wrong, Mandy?” Declan asked as he climbed into the car.

“Did you finish him already?” she asked.

“Yes, as a matter of fact not long ago. And I got some really good information”

“Care to share?” she asked

“Apparently the Smiths think I am a very good object to study. I have been trailed since we left their mansion” Declan said.

“Please don’t tell me that they are aware that you killed Nathan and his father.”

“I won’t tell you that but I can say that they wouldn’t be able to take a report back to their boss. I will take care of them after I visit May in the hospital.”

“Have I ever told you that you care a bit too much for a lady that doesn’t feel the same way for you? You need to move on”
