"Is he diligent, perhaps because he just moved here?"

Eddie was surprised by the presence of his boss's wife, who seemed to be carrying two glasses of drinks.

"Ah, Ma'am! Good morning!" Eddie bowed respectfully.

The woman's eyes looked cynically at several employees who also stopped working to pay their respects to her. "I just want to talk to Eddie, for those whose names are not Eddie, please continue working!"

Eddie swallowed nervously, feeling a bit uncomfortable with the situation. He glanced at his friends, raising both eyebrows.

"So, Eddie, I brought two glasses of coffee for us, let's go with me."
