A flash of lightning accompanies the greeting that comes from Joanna's lips, she seems to turn towards me and smile. Under the dimming moonlight due to the incoming dark clouds, she looks perfect.
I glance behind me, the cave is deserted, I don't know where everyone else went, but clearly this is the perfect time to spend with the person I love.
"Come here, Joanna, don't just stand outside! It's going to rain soon."
Joanna nods and tiptoes over to me standing in front of the cave mouth. Just as I said, moments later, the rain pours down heavily.
Joanna's beautiful face is now in front of me, very close, and I can touch her. Why is this happening only now?
