Chapter 73 || Some Things Don't Fail
Every reporter in the town called for an interview, and Rachna denied them all. She was puzzled and didn't seem as excited as everyone else. Kabir, in particular, hailed her all day and night, letting her know how much she deserved it. She knew she had put in so much work but didn't want to feel indebted to anyone because of an award. She hadn't had enough time to process it when she received more recognition. Each day, a new organisation came up with a huge banner carrying her face or a thirty-minute appreciation speech for her. Soon, her mail was clogged with honorary bodies, asking her to grace an occasion or two, promising to confer a title on her. It overwhelmed her, and she slowly occupied with many things in her hand.

This was an honour, and she had to handle it appropriately, but how? She felt overwhelmed and overjoyed all at once. What was she doing? Her mind wandered to Rahul, and she unconsciously released a sigh. She was confident he would know what to do if he were here.
