Chapter twenty-nine

Dario settled in the backseat of the cab on his way to Terra. He had never been there before so he just waited for the driver’s halt since he already described where he intended going.

Suddenly, Dario began to feel uneasy and he couldn’t shake it off.

Though the driver seemed ordinary enough, there was something about the way he shifted nervously in his seat that was very suspicious.

As they went on, Dario couldn't help but notice the driver's sneaky glances in the rearview mirror. The ride felt tense and uncomfortable, he really just wanted to get to Terra on time so he could get out of this cab.

“Are you sure this is the way to Terra?” Dario asked, his eyes darting in suspicion. Dario didn’t know the directions but he had a feeling he couldn’t shrug, that they were not in the right path.

“Ye- yes. Yes sir.” the driver stammered.

Suddenly he made a right turn into a deserted lonely road. Dario could only count nothing more than three cars throughout the time they spent on that part
