"Mr. Ronald, I would like to complain about the bad deeds done by Angel and Bella," Lauren said without hesitation. "Look at what they've done to me. I want you to give them the punishment they deserve."

The middle-aged man's face changed instantly. His surprise was no longer visible on his face. Now Ronald watched Lauren with a casual look on his face.

Ronald exhaled, sitting back in his chair with his body slightly upright. "I can't do anything like that."

"What?" Lauren was surprised to hear the statement of the middle-aged man in front of her. "Why?"

"Well, you know that yourself, don't you." Ronald raised both hands. "They're both female do-gooders who have powerful contacts. Angel is the manager's niece and the daughter of one of the top staff at the company headquarters, while Bella is a great family member and owns some of the highest shares in this company."

Lauren was stunned with disbelief. He was stranded by reality. This was the kind of thing he had been dreading all along
