The hospital room door swung open with a resounding crash, the sudden intrusion shattering the heavy silence that had engulfed the room.

As Deborah's heart pounded in her chest, she rushed in with a mixture of fear and anger etched across her face.

When she burst through the door, there, lying in the sterile white hospital bed, was Theo, his once vibrant face now pale and haggard. Both of his legs were encased in tightly bound bandages, and various machines and equipment were attached to him, their monotonous beeps and hums blending into a somber symphony that enraged her.

The nurses, their gazes filled with concern, turned their attention towards Deborah as she entered, their eyes silently conveying a sense of shared worry. Her trembling hand instinctively flew to her mouth.

"What happened?!" she shouted.

Her eyes darted from the nurses to the doctor who had entered the room, and with a stern expression etched upon his face, he approached Deborah with measured steps.
