Hailey smiled after hearing what Fredrick had said. It really meant a lot to her. Clearing her throat, Hailey gazed at him.

"Thank you." "She said briefly before returning to munching on her food."

"Hailey!"

The loud scream from the door made her close her eyes. Even without gazing up, she knew it was Stella. By the time she had opened her eyes, Stella was already jumping to hug her.

Hailey, are you alright? I forgot. I won't leave you to have dinner with Lucas. Will you forgive me? " Stella asked cutely.

"There isn't anything to forgive. I can't ask you to go out with your boyfriend just because I can't eat alone. I must get over my fear of being alone. " Hailey said.

"That you should do." Hailey heard Lucas say it from the door.

Watching him enter, Hailey rolled her eyes before gazing at her friend. Lucas was Stella's boyfriend. He was the typical college bad boy. He dyed his hair, had tattoos, wore metal rings, did any crazy thing you could think of. And his eyes. Although she hated him and didn't want to admit it, Lucas was handsome. Nevertheless, they couldn't stand each other.

"Why did you bring him?" Hailey asked, whispering to Stella, who giggled as if she had told a joke.

"I was with him when I got the call from Mr. Oisin. I couldn't just ditch him. " Hailey sighs. Stella explains.

"I love you too, Hailey." I also wouldn't be here if Mr. Oisin or whatever didn't scold Stella for leaving you. " "Lucas I said standing behind Stella.

"Mr. Oisin called you guys." Fredrick asked, shocked.

"Yes." He called, saying you had fainted because you hadn't eaten lunch and now you didn't want to eat dinner. So fragile. " Lucas said, earning a hit from Stella.

"Don't say that. Can't you see she is sick? " Stella asked, making Lucas back off in defeat.

Have you eaten anything? Let me go and get you something. Let's eat together. " Stella said she was trying to stand up when Hailey stopped her.

"No need. Fredrick already bought me all these. " Hailey said, pointing out the obvious food Stella didn't notice.

Don't beat yourself up. From now on, I will have dinner with Hailey. When you can't. " Fredrick said.

"Is that okay with you?" Stella asked, watching as Hailey nodded in agreement, making her sigh.

"Awww, that's so sweet. Don't ask me to have dinner with you too. "You and I can't stand being in the same place, much less eating food together. "Lucas said with a look of disgust."

"Please take him away. I'm afraid he might be the next one lying on this bed. " Stella, Hailey said.

"You are right. Let's go, Lucas. I love you, but sometimes you behave like an ass. " Stella said to Lucas as she dragged him out of the room.

Just as he was about to leave, Hailey looked up and saw him blow her kiss, which then turned into a middle finger.

"I hate you." Hailey said, mouthing the words to him and watching him laugh.

At this point, Stella caught on to what was happening and hit Lucas's hand.

"Ouch. That hurt. Just like my heart. " Lucas said it was sarcastic.

"Please take him out, Stella." Hailey said, watching as he finally left.

Breathing a sigh of relief, Hailey lay on her bed looking at the ceiling. Fredrick was here. Maybe, maybe the nightmares won't come.Hailey kept on telling herself this till she finally slept off...........

A few minutes later, Hailey realized she was wrong once more. She had woken up in that same place. The deserted place Hailey yelled as loudly as she could be frustrated, putting her hands to her head.Why did she keep on seeing this place? Unlike before, this time there was a clear view of a house in the ruin. Glancing around one more time, Hailey decided to walk to the house. As she was getting closer, she finally realized it wasn't any ordinary house.

"Wow. What is this house? " Hailey asked herself as she stopped looking up at it.

The house had been built like a castle. The walls of the house looked very ancient, as if it had been there for a very long time. Although it looked ancient, the foundation seemed very solid. Seeing a wooden board by the corner of the house, Hailey walked over to pick it up.

"I--I---A, Velkan City." Hailey said, reading it aloud.

Velkan city. The rest of the letters in front had obviously been cleaned off. Nevertheless, it was progress. This time in her dream, she had been able to see something that had identified the place for her.

"Velkan City." Hailey said as her hand gripped the wooden board tight while gazing at the house.

Later on, when she woke up, Hailey raised her hand to stretch when she noticed Fredrick was still sleeping beside her, holding one of her hands. The weather had already turned dark, meaning it was already evening or maybe night. Using her other hand, Hailey reached out to grab her phone.

"8:30," Hailey said, collapsing back on her bed.

The image of the wooden board didn't seem to leave her mind, as that was all she thought about. Velkan city. Unlocking her phone, Hailey was about to do some research when she realized...

"WiFi password." Hailey said she realized the hospital wifi was locked.

Luckily, a nurse entered the room at that moment.

"Excuse me." "Please what's the password?" Hailey asked, showing the nurse her phone.

"You are in the ICU." You are supposed to be resting. Here, we have a policy not to allow ICU patients to use the WiFi in order not to disturb their rest. " The nurse said, smiling at her as if she had given her a million dollars.

But I'm no longer critically sick. See? I don't even know why I am still in the ICU ward. " Hailey said.

"Because you could have died." Hailey heard a familiar voice say.

Glancing back, the nurse gave way as the doctor arrived. Hailey's eyes widened as she realized who it was.

"Mr. Oisin, "You are a doctor." Hailey asked.

"I will be going now." The nurse said to leave them alone.

Hailey looked at her teacher dazed, as if she had been shocked by the tragic news. Mr. Oisin looked extremely dashing. Unlike when he was in class, today he wasn't wearing glasses. His beautiful black hair was also styled in a different way. Whether it was Teacher Oisin or Doctor Oisin, both of them always seemed to leave her shocked.

"Let me check your pulse." Hailey watched Mr. Oisin's every word as he walked to her side while she just nodded her head in a daze.

While she continued to daze at Mr. Oisin or Doctor Oisin, Fredrick woke up.

"Hailey. You are awake." Frederick said.

" Hailey is recovering well. Make sure she gets a lot of rest." Mr Oisin said as he walked to the front of her bed revealing himself to Fredrick.

"Mr. Oisin? You are here. As a doctor? " Fredrick asked, glancing at Hailey.

"Yes." Actually, I did study medicine. I also studied archaeology later. So, I decided to practice my profession and then teach archaeology as a part-time job. Mr. Oisin said.

"Wow," Frederick said.

"Alright. I will leave the both of you. Hailey is free to leave tomorrow. " Mr. Oisin said, leaving the room.

Hailey remained dazed as she smiled at the door where Mr. Oisin had just left. Fredrick turned to Hailey, who was still staring.

"Hailey!" Fredrick shouted.

Hailey turned to blinking as she faced Fredrick. That's when she realized she had been staring at Mr. Oisin so obviously. Clearing her throat, Hailey glanced down, pretending to fondle her blanket.

"That reminds me." Do you know the hospital wifi password? I need it. " "To Fredrick," Hailey said,

"Didn't you hear the doctor? You need rest. Don't worry about your assignments. I have talked to some of the professors while you were asleep. They knew you weren't feeling okay. " Fredrick said.

Don't you think he's amazing? He studied two courses. Hailey said, referring obviously to Mr. Oisin.

"Something about him seems creepy. I don't know. His skin color was It's so fair that he could be mistaken as a vampire or something. " Fredrick said, when all of a sudden, Hailey burst out laughing.

"Your imagination Fredrick is Irish. It's normal that his skin color is that fair. Hailey said, laughing.

"Whatever. He just seems creepy. Just be careful. " Frederick said.

As soon as Hailey got home, the first thing she did was to look it up. Velkan city. G****e didn't seem to have much about the city. Hailey scrolled through, glancing seriously at her computer screen. Luckily, she was able to find an old article.

Velkan city. An old city full of ancient creatures. " Hailey said.

"Hailey! I brought food. Let's eat. " "Stella she said shouting from outside as she opened the door.

By the time she entered the inside, Hailey had minimized the page she was reading. Stella showed up smiling as she raised her hand, showing Hailey what she had brought.

"Your favorite." Mexican food from Chuy's. " Stella said.

"I love Mexican food." Hailey said, grinning from ear to ear as Stella set the food up.

A few minutes later, the both of them were already eating. Being a half Latina, well, her mother was a Latina. She loved eating Mexican food because it brought back a lot of memories.

Stella, you are one of the top students in your history class. Do you know of a city called Velkan City? " Hailey asked with her mouth full as she ate.

"Velkan city? I think I have heard of it somewhere. The problem is there isn't any official records. Okay, let me tell you a story. In the 1300's, a rumor went round that magical creatures lived within the city of Illiniza. No one was sure. Then suddenly a man who had an accident claimed to have seen one of those creatures. People thought he was crazy." Stella said excitedly.

" What does that have to do with Velkan city?" Hailey asked.
