Richard made a swift u-turn in the direction of the sound. He took a brief look at Lawrence and he could see fear written all over his face. He didn't want to die and he would not allow him to. He had to protect him at all costs now that he was in his custody.

As they watched without saying a word or making any attempt to move, Ken staggered into the building with a long stick in his left, dragging a dead man with him.

"You guys should thank your stars that I came right in time. You would have been talking to your makers right now," he said with exhaustion in his voice.

"Yeah, almighty Ken," Lawrence returned.

"Have you guys been fighting," Richard inquired but he didn't get any reply from any of the parties.

"Well since nobody is talking, I will consider your silence a yes."

"Aren't you guys going to see whom we have here?" Ken inquired. "You might be able to recognize him because I don't."
