My hunch began to flip around.

"The dead!!"

My intuition began to soar as I fell into deep thought. Suddenly, I turned around only to be a witness of the unexpected. Nearly one billion skeletons were standing in wait. When I was the Demon god, I was able to tell how many people were in the battlefield by looking at the area that was occupied by them.

[Can't believe my past experience is helping me.]

The skeletal appearance must be a side effect of the dead entering the realm of living beings.

A black and white lighting began to open up a rift on the sky circularly. It was the descent of the origin of aftermath. His eyes omitted black and white flames. He was wearing dark clothes like a reaper. His face resembled a dazzling young man. I thought he too would look like a skeleton. Guess there is nothing that the origin entities can not defy. But something felt off. The colour of the aura that he omitted were identical to Madrona's and the origin of light's.

"!!!!"

The phrase 'dead'... It made me even more clearer as the events evolved further.

Origin of dark was never formed nor born. He was just an entity with no consciousness. His consciousness was formed right after the 'Big-Bang explosion' as a side effect of the cosmic evolution. He was the first entity with a consciousness. Later came the origin of light.

The origin of dark and the origin of light were never on good terms with each other. So, they were always on constant wars. The conflict between them resulted in the deaths of many living beings. Living beings that obtained the power of dark or light died in these wars.

The aura of every dead soul contained a regret for being blinded by power. Since they had nowhere to go after death, the resentment of the souls who died with the powers they obtained from Madrona and origin of light intact grew more.

As a side effect was formed the origin of aftermath who carried the resentment of the dead towards the origin entities. Since they died with their powers intact, the origin of aftermath ended up obtaining the power of both dark and light. He worked hard and created his own authority and sovereignty to use both the powers at the same time.

With the combined IQ of my'scientist'self and my'Demon-god'self, I grasped most of the part that was ongoing. I ended up getting a compliment from Madrona via sound transmission.

"Not bad, young lad!"

But I felt something missing. Why would the origin of aftermath just be on standby? He can intervene to stop the fight inbetween both entities if he carried on the resentment of the dead.

"!!!!"

I turned around to see how the fight between Madrona and his archenemy progressed. Both of them were fatigued. I thought that the lord of afterlife was waiting for this chance to take down both of them. But I was wrong.

Instead of attacking both the archenemies, he attacked Madrona with his army of a billion dead souls that were skeletons. Now, all the pieces of chess were placed together.

The origin of light took the authority of the living and the origin of aftermath took the authority of the dead. Their purposes were similar in a way, unlike the origin of dark who had the authority on both the living and the dead creatures. Earlier in the war I witnessed dead souls with omnipotent aura wrapped in dark armour. They were fighting alongside Madrona. Madrona must have posed a threat to both of the origin of light and the origin of aftermath.

The billion skeletons flew together like a huge cloud in the space. Once again, I was fazed by the weird phenomenon but figured it out quickly. The origin of aftermath was using his sovereignty. And different light rays started forming huge thorn shaped beams that were 10 to 15 meters long. Millions of such beams were pointed towards Madrona. This sovereignty was obviously the origin of light's work. Both the origin entities reigned non-stop series of attacks on Madrona. I was only spellbounded by the impacting phenomena.

I faltered as I witnessed Madrona falling on the ground from the impact of attacks in the outer space. Madrona stood but fell on his knees due to fatigue.

Origin of light and aftermath stood infront looking down on him. Both of them gave off a smirk. Now, how would Madrona evade his death? I got more curious. The lord of the afterlife (origin of aftermath), came forward and raised his left hand.

He began to chant spells in a weird language that was difficult to understand. To my surprise, I was still able to understand it. I didn't know why I was able to understand an unknown language. But I focused on what was happening. The origin of aftermath enchanted,

""WRATH OF DAYLIGHT!!""

"!!!!"

Right after the lord of the afterlife chanted those three phrases, weird letters shining in mid-air with black and white aura began encircling his left hand that was raised. A beam of light spread around the whole place.

Then, I witnessed the origin of aftermath having a weapon in his left hand. It was a double edged weapon. On one edge was an axe and on the opposite edge was a scythe. It emanated Black and white lightning and flames. It must have been the weapon he created to take down Madrona since the name 'Wrath of daylight' criticises 'Darkened Daylight' that is the power of the origin of dark.

Then, origin of light created millions of thorn shaped light beams and began combine them into a single beam. The beams combined and formed a long sword with different colours fluctuating in it. The sword was nothing more than shaping of an aura. Because it didn't have any particle matter like steel or metal. It was just a powerful light resonating the shape of a sword.

Both weapons now began to emanate aura. On one side, the origin of aftermath aimed for the neck and on the other side, the origin of light was aiming for the heart. Both of them engaged forward. As both the weapons were about to cut and pierce Madrona-
