THE HOSPITAL

Chapter 7

The middle-aged man shoved bobby and held him to the wall. Bobby seeing that shit had hit the fan quickly pushed the man off him and made to run only to be blocked by the other lady and Deucalion.

Deucalion who was in his hospital robes saw bobby and quickly flared up shouting "you want to complete what you started. That he survived the attack on his life."

Bobby now shocked from hearing the "attack on his life "quickly surprised him with a blow from the middle-aged man Hector who was of Mexican descent to his right jaw. Bobby staggering fell on the water dispenser machine which he knocked down spilling water all over the flow.

The middle-aged woman Veronica used a Zimmer frame that she got from Deucalion hospital room and swung it across bobby who evaded it with the agility of a circus performer.

Bobby seeing that they want to back him to the wall fully experienced went straight for hector with a left hook which made hector bring his guard down by protecting his right side leaving his left side open.

Hector realizing the mistake he made couldn't react on time as Bobby drop a rib-cracking blow to him which sent him wobbling back. Bobby pulling his sleeves took some steps forward while veronica was summoning her courage.

Hector now got up and rushed with veronica towards bobby who caught Veronica's hands and yanked her backward while shoving her slamming her face to the wall which made blood ooze out from her nose.

Bobby turned away from veronica and didn't see that hector had gone to his blind side was met by a spear by hector which made him crash on the wall hitting his head in the process.

Deucalion was smiling and beating him to a pulp! he shouted as Hector laid on him landing blows after blows on his face which brought out blood from Bobby's nose.

Bobby now mad with rage, eyes turned deep blue. Hands all veiny now grabbed hector punching hand with ease and slammed his head repeatedly on the wall.

Veronica rushing to help hector was slapped by Bobby who caught her with a mean backhand which sent her spiraling backward. He turned and faced hector who transformed a little, just brought out his canines and claws and blew his nose which broke it and Hector shouted in pain.

Veronica now standing quickly dropped kicked bobby into the glass door which shattered all over the floor and picked a large shard of glass and wanted to slit his throat.

Bobby lying on the shards of glass lay still fooled veronica who went towards bobby thinking he was knocked out bent and went for his throat

"Noooooo!" shouted hector seeing the grave mistake she made. Bobby who noticed that she was within an arms stretch quickly stabbed her in her abdomen with a large shard of glass and quickly stood up and held a shard to her throat.

Deucalion red with anger demanded, "he left her to go or he will kill everybody in this hospital shook his walking cane forcefully."

Deucalion now snarling at Bobby was joined by Hector who was walking across the shards and moved towards Bobby.

Charlie who was watching the television heard the glass shattering and quickly paused what he was watching and put his ears to the door.

He perceived blood, he realized what happening as he remembered what his dad said to him. Charlie prepared himself breathing in and out peeping out from his room and taking cover while watching the whole fight.

Deucalion towards bobby who wasn't looking at his blind side and wipe his head across the life support machine, Bobby struggling to regain his balance was met with blows by Hector.

Deucalion using a drip vein tried to strangle Bobby who quickly evaded him and kicked a wheelchair at him. Deucalion who reacted slowly was hit and pinned by the wheelchair.

Bobby seeing the defibrillator machine flicked the switch on and grab the sticker pad and punched Hector on his head.

Hector gripped bobby and lifted him and smacked him on the bed which broke the support of the bed and kicked Hector at the same time crashing him into the sink where a nearby scalpel which fell from the fight stabbed him on his shoulder.

Bobby seeing Deucalion struggling used a Zimmer frame and wiped ad his forehead knocking him unconscious.

Hector using that small window of opportunity quickly dove and maimed the scalpel at Bobby's neck trying to slit his throat.

Bobby seeing Hector's reflection on the body of the wash hand sink dived to the ground where the defibrillator lay on the floor and picked it up.

Seeing what happened they both looked at each other then they had a voice saying help faintly bobby and Charlie now looking at Veronica bleeding from her stomach crawling away leaving a trail of blood.

Hector now distracted by this dropped his guard just for a moment. Bobby now realizing it a second earlier jammed the shocking pad of the defibrillator and slammed it on both sides of his head zapping him across the room leaving him unconscious.

Bobby matched the broken glass which crumbled more under his timberland and moved towards Veronica who was crawling away begging for her life and noticed a security camera on the wall.

Bobby knew that they shouldn't be able to track this to him using a frame to knock it down and stuck his hands and brought out the memory card which he broke.

Bobby walked towards veronica who was drifting in and out due to loss of blood stood over her for some seconds and walked away towards the stairs. Charlie saw his dad coming ran, and lay on the bed in his room.

Minutes later, Deucalion woke up to see his pack lying unconsciously moved and checked Veronica's pulse to see if the bastard killed her. Hearing a pulse, he quickly dipped his hands and raised the glass shard tearing her artery leaving her to bleed out.

Hector now waking up with a severe headache moved towards Deucalion and stood over her body which was bleeding profusely "what are we going to do?" asked hector

Deucalion looking up to where the supposed camera was supposed to be smiled from the side of his jaw while flexing his claws and simply said

"Raise hell!" Deucalion said softly.

Hector went to Klay's room, he leaned carefully over Klay who was sleeping due to the medication bringing out his claws, and wanted to rip his throat before he saw the patient record on the chart hung on the wall. Seeing he was an officer hector walked away, he. doesn't kill cops.

While Deucalion went room to room drawing a spiral over the wall kicked down medical equipment. A ward waking up to see Deucalion in the room with him was bitten in the neck and throat ripped apart with claws while Hector stood to watch.

Deucalion and Hector all bloody moved room to room like the lord's angel on the day of the crossover slitting and ripping apart their victims who lay unsuspectedly as they slept.

Charlie peeping from the blinds in the room saw them as they moved towards the room opposite him. With no time to run he quickly jumped on the bed and turned his face towards the wall as if he was sleeping.

Deucalion pushed open the door gently and went towards him saying a prayer silently heaved his hands back into the air. Then with a furious speed, he brought it down with the claws slashing the throat spilling blood all over the curtain and bedsheets as he left.

Hector now entering the Charlie room put on the light as he walked in noiselessly around the room. Charlie was fully awake panicking quietly pretending as if he was sleeping.

Deucalion walked into the room and simply walked straight to the bed and as he went for the kill he saw it was Charlie. But to him, all he knew was this was the boy that saved him from the accident. He just quietly walked away to Hector's surprise.

"Well?" asked Hector

"He pulled me from the burning car man he saved me! one life begets another."

Hector nodded his head in understanding as they both walked down the stairs and proceeded to the security room.

They found Green a security personnel who was half asleep on the chair. Hector quickly grabbed him from behind and with great strength pulled his head off his body slowly splattering blood over the monitors and keyboard.

"A bit excessive don't you think?" quizzed Deucalion

Suddenly his eye caught the movement of the other security personnel walking up the stairs about to enter the room.

"Shit! hide someone is coming! "said Hector as he hid behind the door.

Deucalion sees no more hiding space as he heard the door knob squeak and then open.

"Are you my doctor?" Deucalion asked the security man who was holding his coffee.

"Are you coming to give me my greens?" Deucalion said pretending as if he was a patient with a brain injury.

The security man now perplexed still holding his coffee "what …. how did you get here? where is Green?"

Deucalion scratched his head like an addict "are you doctor Reese?" he asked while moving towards the security man.

"You mean your partner?" Deucalion said smiling from ear to ear "well, I kind of killed him he" said laughing.

The security man looking beyond Deucalion seeing the blood all over the monitor shouted stop as he reached for his holster.

Hector who was behind the door knew what he wanted to do next and reacted. Hector quickly yanked his right hand and broke his fingers while Deucalion walked past and locked the door.

"I am forgetting something," Deucalion said out loud as he stood changing the display channels on the television looking at the hallways and front exit.

Hector dishing out blows to the security guy looked at Deucalion "well' what are you forgetting?"

Deucalion opened the drawer and took a lighter he found and lit a cigar ahh "Cubans are always classic."

Hector standing up moved towards the center console well "what are we to do now?"

Deucalion in between smokes smiled here "take a puff bro you need to relax a little" as he offered Hector the cigar.

Hector who was an avid smoker reached for it with his bloody hand and took it. He brought the cigar to the top of his lips and laid it on his bushy mustache and breathed a sigh of relief.

"It's good" he replied as he took a big breath.

Deucalion stood and walked across the pool of blood in the room to the other security man who was beaten almost to pulp though in shock.

The security man begging for his life was lifted by Deucalion who whispered into his ears

"What's the security password?"

The security man's eyes flashed before Deucalion's as he thought the crazy fucker want to delete the security tape.

"I don't know the password" he cried out pointing to Green…. he was the one in charge …

Deucalion knew when someone was bullshitting him quickly brought out his claws and put them close to his rib saying "I do have a lot of time on my hands to torture you so can you skip to the part where you tell me the password."

Deucalion knew he had to do something to prove to Ryan the security guy that he was serious quickly dipped his claw into his abdomen and yanked out his rib then stabbed it into his shoulder on the wall.

Ryan all bloodily didn't have the strength to cry out as he could only watch how blood oozed from his body.

Deucalion holding a cloth to the injury to slow down the bleeding asked again "what is the password? Is it worth your life? your wife and children's life?"

Ryan's eyes flickered as he heard his children's life. Deucalion seeing it quickly knew he had him where he wanted, caressed his bloody hand over Ryan's blonde hair and told him "it could be avoided."

Ryan drifting in and out was seeing his six months baby Hailie while he was hallucinating called Deucalion.

"Hay," he said as blood spat out from his mouth "promise me you won't go after my family!" while coughing and choking from his blood he begged Deucalion.

"I won't go after them!" replied Deucalion as he crossed an X sign over his chest.

"The password is BETTY9876" replied Ryan

Then Deucalion matching the blood-stained floor moved towards Ryan and quickly punched his chest open bringing out his heart and dropping it on the floor.

Hector seeing that quickly moved aside fearing he could be next as Deucalion went to the security console and logged in.

Wipe data! the monitor flashed warily as Deucalion clicked yes. Deleting in two minutes. Hector and Deucalion sat waiting for the two minutes to elapse .it seemed like the longest two minutes of their lives as time seemed to move slowly.

Deucalion looked at the rubber sneaker he was wearing seeing how it was red and drenched and in blood began trying to clean it.

They heard the monitor beep …" shit has been erased" Deucalion who was busy stripping down wires from the terminal then also moved towards the smoke sensor and disabled it.

"Good here!" Deucalion said to hector tossing the lighter to him as he walked away. "I leave you to the last act."

Hector sparking the naked wires over each other caused a fire then he smiled as he watched it burnt the tapes in the back before engulfing the whole room as he walked out smiling cigar in his hand.

Hector and Deucalion walked out of the hospital and turned towards the alley beside it to avoid traffic cams.
