Fenrir leveling System.

Dave got up in the middle of the night and went to the woods.

He moved covertly so that no one would see him.

He arrived at a high cliff and was considering whether to end his life right this second.

He finally came to the conclusion that ending his miserable existence was the best course of action after giving it some thought.

He's had enough of Society's bullying and would much prefer to join his unidentified parents in heaven than continue to be treated like trash.

Other people have superhuman talents like super strength, telekinesis, regeneration, and other things, yet he couldn't compete in a straightforward foot race, his existence bothered him.

He was currently gazing at the moon and silently expressing his hope that perhaps things would improve.

"Why don't you bestow upon me an ability like the others or even better than them, for I am useless, a person with no power to exist in this harsh world? At that point, he halted, saying, "Wait! Seriously, what am I saying? It doesn't mean that the moon will grant me, a pitiful little human, an ability just because I pray for it. The moon may have cursed the world while simultaneously blessing humans."

He cried, "Craap!"

"I am finally going crazy and it's about time after enduring all this nonsense that can make anyone's mind break down," he groaned.

The impulse to simply leap off the cliff and terminate his pitiful existence was strong as he then peered down from the height of the cliff, but he hesitated greatly due to his intense fear of dying.

He added as he turned around, "You know what, I changed my mind. If I were to pass away right now, my adversaries would likely celebrate my passing and make me a martyr, if they ever found my body."

"Ahhh!" he screamed in fear as he tumbled down from his cliff as the earth beneath his feet crumbled.

Right before he lost consciousness and his head sank closer to the ground, he thought, "I guess that I am going to die anyhow, I see even the universe wants me out of extinction, well too bad universe since you are assisting my aim that I am too cowardly to finish."

{The system is "linked to the selected one

The host has received the Fenrir: werewolf system as a favor from the moon, who felt sorry for him.}

{Binding in 3.2.1

The binding was effective.

Warning: The host is in a critical state

Health is stabilizing, currently.

The host is protected by the system up until the point at which the host becomes conscious.} A strange robotic voice ranged in his head.

Three hours later >>>

Dave gradually opened his eyes as he regained consciousness. He then asked, "Huh?... Where am I?" as he took in his surroundings.

“Ah! Right the forest, cliff!" he yelled, pausing to take a glance at his surroundings. As he was about to get up from the ground, his head began to hurt so badly that it felt as though someone had struck him in the head. "I am still alive, but how come?" he asked himself.

{Ding… Welcome to the Fenrir leveling system.}

"What the hell is this?!" Dave was a little startled when a blue transparent screen that appeared to be from a video game suddenly appeared above his head.

"What the heck is all this, when did I turn into a werewolf?" Dave was perplexed by the wealth of information displayed directly in front of him.

After that, the system took it upon itself to explain, saying, {The host prayer has been answered by the moon and has been awarded to the system with change of your race as the price to pay.}

"No, no, no!" Dave spoke back to the system, "This is not what I requested, and in addition, I was saying it because I was depressed."

{If the host decides to break free from the system, he or she will die and their soul will eventually run out, making it impossible for them to keep going in the cycle of life.}

"I feel like I had no choice in the beginning but to just roll with this new existence of mine, but dang it doesn't mean that I have become humanity's biggest adversary and I will never in my life join sides with those damn supernatural bastards who killed my parents!" A furious Dave said.

As the system indicated, {You are being powered by the moon and all of your stats have been doubled}. Dave could feel his body becoming more powerful. Dave asked the system how long he had been in the woods after realizing that he was still there.

The system replied, {Three hours.}

Dave quickly started running across the woods to his apartment, saying, "Men I'm late, how long was I out in the cold in the woods."

Dave noted that he was running faster than he had ever run before and that he was remaining cool under pressure. David was pleased by this.

Without letting anyone in the area know, he arrived safely at home on time.

He was glad and worn out from all the bizarre things that had transpired today as he lay on his mattress.

{Ding… Running gave you 5 exp points.

Oh, I'm getting experience just for running? That's awesome.

Then he started asking the system all kinds of questions and for information that he ought to be aware of.

{Sorry, but the host lacks sufficient authorization concerning the system's origin.}

{The host can complete missions, daily tasks, or just kill animals to level up by accruing experience points.}

What are the ongoing missions, then? Dave queried.

{Current Missions: Level up to the next grade; Stay alive for the next 28 days; Make your pack.}

Wow, these are some difficult challenges, but Dave questioned what the system meant by "survive in the following 28 days by leading a quiet existence."

Dave continued, "I feel like my life has changed, but it's a wonderful thing since I am no longer thought of as the weakling that I was previously."

Dave eventually dozed off with a broad smile on his face after posing several inquiries.
