Earth 2050 (Prologue) 

The first day it all started was a horrible sight. 

It was a quiet and active night until a mysterious occurrence sent the entire planet into complete chaos. 

After perplexity and bewilderment, there were numerous questions, but none were addressed. 

It was a day that would live in infamy and would come to be known as "The Red Moon Apocalypse." It lasted for about a week, during which time the moon painted the sky a blood-red color. 

Because of the rise of supernatural beings and the appearance of hideous beasts on the earth's surface, everyone believed that the world had already come to an end as prophesied in the holy texts. 

The once-adoring and adorable pets had evolved into vicious animals that were capable of killing and devouring their owners as a result of animal mutagenesis. 

The world had descended into tragedy, with lives lost, property destroyed, and so on. 

For the first time, humanity banded together to battle these creatures, using every weapon and resource at their disposal. All of their efforts were fruitless; even the most advanced forms of equipment failed to scratch them even slightly. 

The emergence of a new generation with superhuman abilities known as the "Blessed" gave humanity the hope and courage they needed to fight against the enemies threatening to destroy them. Since then, humanity has been driven to the brink of extinction as they fall into despair and hopelessness. 

It escalated into a full-fledged battle between humans and the supernatural. The ruins and millions of corpses on the floor could only tell one tragic story. 

The war would not be considered fair because the supernaturals included many creatures fighting humans, such as werewolves, vampires, ghouls, zombies, banshees, and harpies, alongside dangerous monsters and beasts such as the basilisk or the king of the sea, Kraken, but the word "fair" had nothing to do in a world where only the fittest lived. 

After decades of bloodshed, both parties were able to reach a temporary peace treaty with each other, but only to develop their respective territories, expand their areas, and get stronger in case another battle broke out in the future. 

Fortunately, humans were able to unearth something known as the beast core that could help them in their conflict. Using this novel substance, humans were able to absorb the energy to strengthen their powers to the point where even those without special abilities could do so to improve their physical attributes. The fact that it would be limited was the only drawback. 

These beast cores might be utilized to power up a variety of items, including technologies that run and weapons that combat supernatural beings. The only things that could be made with it, though, were simple weapons like swords, daggers, gauntlets, bows, and arrows, which were at least more lethal and effective than weapons like rifles and explosives. 

The humans now had a chance to stand against the monstrous creatures thanks to these new reinforcements, but would they be victorious in the protracted conflict? 

Earth 3050 ( chapter 1 )

At the age of 18, Dave is a tall, slender-appearing boy with dark hair and a rounded face who has always been an orphan. 

He was never able to meet his parents, but he was raised to hear many tales about them dying in a fight for humanity. 

But the fact that he lacks the same extraordinary abilities or powers as the others makes matters worse for him. 

He was bullied and ridiculed by the community for being a miserable loser in society. 

One day, a 

He was seated at his desk by himself in the classroom when several bullies approached him to disturb his tranquility as usual. 

A kid with a brawny appearance called up to Dave and said, "Hey loser," but Dave chose to ignore the call and pretended not to hear it because he could hear someone calling him from across the room. 

Dave's desk was destroyed when the strong child slapped his hand down on it and yelled, "Hey punk! I called you. Didn't you hear me? " 

"Whenever he is talking to you, don't ignore him, you must fucking reply to him!" the brawny young subordinate said as he violently dragged Dave off his chair with only one hand. 

As soon as the strong youngster instructed him to leave Dave alone, the subordinate complied and simply threw Dave over, causing his back to strike the teacher's desk. 

"Ahh!" Dave yelled in pain as he threw up blood. 

The big boy said, crouching down a little to get a better look at his face, "Since this is the last day of high school, I simply have to come and commend you on how you were able to remain strong without breaking down." 

Simply look at your awful existence; you don't have any talent or parents, and you're just a lonely loser with no friends or, worse yet, a partner. You must still be a virgin at your age. " 

More than anything, Dave was stung by those remarks. He wanted to answer but was unable to do so because of his weakness. 

All of Dave's classmates who were observing the drama didn't even try to assist him; instead, they just laughed. Some even started to record it on their phones, while others went so far as to invite the entire school to watch the drama. 

The brawny kid mocked Dave and exclaimed, "Just go and die, you piece of shit. You are garbage to society! " When Dave didn't respond as he had anticipated, the brawny kid became enraged and continued punching Dave in the face, reducing the force of his blows so as not to kill him but only hurt him as usual. 

He pounded Dave until he was satisfied, then got up and departed. 

Since Dave has been receiving beatings since middle school, he was bleeding from his nose and mouth and had a swollen eye, but instead of sobbing in agony, he remained silent and got to his feet. 

When the school bell rang to signal the conclusion of class, Dave quietly picked up his bag and walked out of the yard. 

The government has been covering his expenses since he arrived at the flat the government had given him after learning that his parents had perished in the conflict. 

He set his bag on the floor, sat down in the chair, and turned on a futuristic television that appeared to be a medium-sized plasma screen in his room. 

His apartment isn't too huge; it only has a chair, a table, a small mattress, a tiny kitchen, a tiny bathroom, and a tiny toilet. 

The news was showcasing the finding of higher grade beasts and how they have greater quality beast cores. However, Dave was lost in contemplation and wasn't listening to the news because he had only turned it on to prevent himself from feeling lonely.
