Chapter 5

Elena 's pov

   How on Earth I'm I going to tell my Bestfriend that I am in love with her brother ,just how will I do that ,I don't want anything to ruin our friendship and I certainly don't want it to end, I need her in my life Right now just as much as I needed her brother.

  I sighed as I watched her leave through my window .I went back to the sofa and laid a spiral on it . I have an evening In-date with Noah today and I almost forgot that's the main reason why I have to throw her out so suddenly I can't let her find out I am dating her brother at least not yet . 

Stood up from where I was and headed to the bar stand and poured myself a glass of non alcoholic mochetto wine. I poured my second glass then I heard my doorbell ring  and the happiness that wasn't in me before suddenly sprouted out . I checked myself in the nearest mirror to check if I looked good,I knew deep in my mind that there was no need cos I am always looking good. 

             I opened the door and there he was my personal Greek god ,d*mn he is so fucking hot 

      " Hey baby,are you going to stand there staring at me or you're going to let me in? '' he said and I mentally facepalmed myself for acting foolishly.

" What ..? You can't blame me for staring you're always looking hot I couldn't get enough of it " I said while letting him in and he smiled so brightly that he got my knees weakened . 

 " Come here,I missed you" he said and pulled me towards him to have a hug .

" Hmm baby I Know,I've missed you too Ava never wanted to go home ,I had to throw her out" 

     " She said so " he said and brought my head up  while placing his palms on both cheeks and kissed me ,he held my face closer to himself to deepened the kiss and my whole body went numb , only my heart could know exactly how I was feeling that moment.. I gave in to him and kissed him back and my hands found their way to his neck and the kiss became More rough,we were getting hotter,but then he suddenly stopped. 

     "What? Why??" I said breathlessly

  " I'm sorry..." He said unexpectedly

" What are you talking about? What are you sorry about? " I asked and held his hands tighter. 

" About us having to do this in secret ,I haven't even graduated college yet and my sis also..why don't we just tell her." He said while looking at me with pity. I hated it whenever he looked at me like that. I don't want him of all people to look at me like that . 

" Stop looking at me like you pity me Noah, we fell in love with each other and we are dating each other ..there is no problem about that ..and you'll be 19 in a week time and I'm just 22 ,so what are you talking about.... we've talked about this right? Why I are you bringing this up now?" I started and left his side to get back to finishing my wine . 

      " I know..I am just worried about you and my sister, I don't want to be the one to ruin your relationship or anything..you know my sister would never approve of us don't you? " He said from the same spot he was as before . I looked back at him and saw him staring at me sternly . 

        I walked back to his side and handed him a glass of wine ,he collected it and smirked at me . 

 " Don't look at me like that ,unless you're willing to start what you won't be able to finish all through the night  , we are having a serious conversation right now " I said sexily and touched his neck . 

 " Mm? I love to be tempted but it's true we are having a convo right now ..so I obviously don't want to start " he said while he drew me closer and kissed my hair . 

      " Let's not say anything to your sister yet, okay? She's my Best Friend..I'll Do my best to make her approve of us " I said and I gave him my best smile to reassure him ." You're staying tonight Right?" I added

   " Uhh no? I have to see Ava" he said abruptly

" What do you mean no, I thought you told her you'll be staying out!" I answered him in a crying voice .

      " I'm sowwy okaeii I'll make it up to youu shomehoww" he added in a childish voice and I laughed hard than I have all through the day . He always does those little things to keep me happy

" Okay fine! ,How about I pick you up at school on Monday " 

" Really? That's fine by me ,and I have somewhere to take you also "

"Where " 

"It's a surprise" 

" Ah I love surprises from you" I screeched. 

" Okay baby ,I'll leave now" he said and placed a kiss on my lips . 

" I'll see you tomorrow okay? I love you" 

" I love you too " he said back and I followed him to the door and kissed him goodbye then watched him leave. 

After Noah left I went upstairs to my room, took off my clothes and headed to shower . I took my bath and came downstairs to eat something and watch a good movie before going to bed but then the lights suddenly went out . I went to the fixed solar panels to turn it on but it won't turn on for some reason . 

Third person's Pov

Elena picked up her phone to call the light insurance company to ask them what the problem was when her doorbell suddenly rang.

" Who is there? " She asked while tip-toeing to her door to check if anyone was by the door but to her unlucky surprise no one was at the door . Despite the spooky thing she found happening she was still calm ,she took her phone and dialed Ava's number ,she was getting impatient when Ava didn't pick up and tried calling Noah's number  when her suddenly hear the doorbell ring again.

She went towards the door despite being frightened.

" N ..n ..noah is that you? Is any o...one there " ? `` She asked shakily.

When she found out there was no reply,she took double steps back and almost tripped on her wine glass she placed on the floor earlier today .

She looked back to the door and her eyes widened as  she choked the urge to scream when she suddenly saw the shadow lurking at the shade of her window.  

     Without a second thought she ran all the way to her room to get into her closet and dialed Ava's number again and again ,she couldn't dial 911 and she was getting all sweaty all over due to the fear of a dangerous person in her home . 

And all of a suddenly it was all quiet again,she got out of her closet and tipped toed to her bedroom door opened it and go through the stairs as silent as she can ,she went to the kitchen and grabbed the nearest object she could use as a self defense ,the type  of sensation one  gets when you can just feel someone watching you? She felt the same.

She  kept looking around the kitchen, through the doorway into the dining room, at the windows. She couldn't  see anything, but she still felt someone was watching her , so he still couldn't see. She stepped closer, then closer again, until she was right up at the door, she opened her window a little to get a better view of her lane,and  there on the other side of the window pane was her stalker,her ex-lover mike smiling at her with a creepy little face she would never dream of seeing.

      " Open this damn fuckin door bitch"! He said as tried to break the door in, he  banged and banged but Elena continued to scream for help. 

           " Open this fucking door! You bitch ,your father already engaged us together! How dare you have a relationship with another man!" He continued ragedly .

     " I will never marry a sick psychopath like you ! You disgust me!! '' She said through yelling.

      He smirked with every evilness in his bones and broke her window with a rage of anger " you better behave like a good little girl you are ,or I'll kill you if I get in there " he spits! 

   " Hello 911? ... please help .. someone is trying to kill me.. please..I live at ......." Before she could react to anything..mike already broke down the door and was before her .he gripped her hair tightly and she Yelped with tears rolling down her face. 

      " You wanted to call the police? You want to ? Huh! "He said and hit her repeatedly.

" I'd rather die than marry you ! And my step father?! I'd rather die than listen to any of his trash! " She said back at him and he got furious

He went to her bar stand and took  a bottle of wine but before he could do anything. 

The police came .
