It was already six years since the commotion that shook the entire Avaldon world occurred. The mysterious phenomenon alerted countless of powerhouses but it was only the beings at the peak of the world knew what actually happened.

Many people speculated that it was a terrifying treasure that manifested while others it was a supreme being that made a breakthrough in cultivation.

Many rumours were flying around but soon enough , another word got out that it was a taboo that was destined to bring a terrifying calamity to the world was born.

The rumours were rampant in the first , second and third continents. Many people became extremely worried about the rumours while some waved it off nonchalantly.

The Avaldon world was the strongest Chaotic world , who could threaten it. Even the invincible Azure god of the past could not .

Another event that shook the entire world was the continuous visit of several powerhouses from the other worlds who came to investigate what actually happened.

This lead to the escalation of conflicts between the native powerhouses and the foreign powerhouses.

In the end , the sword emperor stepped forward and slaughtered six Supreme beings , deterring the other foreign powerhouses who became very low profiled.

After a long period of investigation , they could not discover anything except for the fact that a taboo that the heavens wanted to kill have been born.

They wanted to find that taboo but all the traces leading to the location of the taboo have been wiped off by a mysterious force.

Many powerhouses from other worlds joined forces and pressured the Avaldon world. Even though the Avaldon world was disputed as the strongest Chaotic world , it will still hard for them to fight against hundreds of powerhouses from the other worlds.

The situation almost lead to a very terrifying war until the Great emperor stepped out again and supressed all the foreign powerhouses . He used a mythical ability to shroud the entire world , cutting it off from the outside universe , making it to be in an independent spacetime boundary.

The return of the Great emperor alarmed several undying beings in the depths of the universe .

It couldn't be helped because the Great emperor was rumoured back then to already have a foot into the realm of Transcendence before he disappeared and he was largely disputed as the strongest being until the insane Azure god came to prominence.

His return deterred the foreign powerhouses who have been eyeing the Avaldon world due to it's large amount of resources .

The current Avaldon world although still very strong was currently in a weakened state due the terrifying battle that occurred a hundred million years ago.

The battle made them to lose several Supreme beings and even their strongest powerhouse which was the Azure god was sealed by them .

The loss of many powerhouses and the sealing of the azure god made many people to harbour evil intentions again but they were quite hesitant to act because the Avaldon world although weakened was still a behemoth that could not be challenged easily.

The return of the Great emperor dispelled the numerous thoughts many people had and everyone went into hiding again , not daring to plot anything against the Avaldon world.

Skyblue town was located in the outskirts of the Earthrise city which was under the jurisdiction of the sage empire .

The first continent was divided into twelve domains and the sage empire ruled over one domain and the domain was currently named after them ,

The sage domain !.

The Skyblue town was known for it's huge production of spirit yeast which was the most popular source of income for the people living in that area.

The spirit yeast was a low level spirit herb that was used in making different wines and dishes and the demand was very high in the nearby cities.

"Amon , can you help me catch a green coloured butterfly ?". An adorable little girl that was around six years pouted her lips and said with a little bit of grivance tinged in her voice.

Her eyes were round and cute , seemingly void of any impurities and one could constantly notice the mischievous glint that constantly flashed in those eyes.

The people who were familiar with her would know that she was plotting something again with that expression on her face.

Beside her , a six year old boy who was laughing and chasing the butterflies in the air paused in his movement and flashed a beautiful smile at the little girl .

The face of the boy was chubby and cute with the two deep dimples on both cheeks , accentuating the adorableness of the little boy.

His two dark eyes gleamed sharply like a dark sapphire and his long curly black hair almost covered half of his face. No doubt that the little boy will be extremely handsome when he grows up.

Amon who smiled at the little girl turned and continued to chase the butterflies in the vast yeast field , the were currently playing at.

Sob !! sob !! sob !!

The eyes of the young girl who have been ignored reddened immediately and tears gathered at her eyes .

Amon who noticed the sudden change in the mood of the girl paused in his run and hurried towards the girl with immense speed.

The sight of him racing with his chubby legs was quite hilarious and the adults who were currently harvesting the spirit yeast smiled and shook their heads.

"Aina , what's wrong with you ?" . His big black eyes blinked anxiously as he looked at the little girl with worry.

"I won't...be ..your friend anymore , since you don't want to catch a butterfly for me ". The girl started crying loudly and Amon immediately panicked , not knowing what to do about the situation.

"Aina , don't cry , I will get many green coloured butterflies for you, okay ". Amon gently wiped off her tears and pattted her head gently.

Amon was slightly taller than her and the gesture of his head patting made everyone around them to smile slightly .

The girl blinked her eyes and said softly.

"Promise ?".

"Yes , I promise ". Amon who was happy to see Aina stop crying nodded seriously.

"Hiyaaa !!". Aina shouted and rushed off towards the direction of the green coloured butterflies with a victorious smile on her face.

Amon blinked his eyes with confusion at the sudden change of Aina .

She was crying so hard now and now , she seemed to have become so happy and energetic.

He shook his head slightly and chased after the girl.

"I want that one and this one ....no ..not that one ..!!".

"Amon , are you even listening to me !!".

"I know , I know , am trying to catch them ".

Their loud voices reverberated through the vast field as they continued to chase after the butterflies.

Not so far from where they were playing , two old man with rattan hat and gloves were currently watching them with smiles on their faces.

"I never expected your grandson to have affinity with the green coloured butterflies ". One of them said with immense admiration in his voice.

The green coloured butterflies was known for their innate hostility against strangers and it was quite suprising that Amon could get along with them.

"He is just lucky ". The other old man shook his head and said.

"Pat , you know that I actually suspect that you are not an ordinary person ever since you came to this town with your grandson ". The other man looked at the one called Pat and said seriously.

Pat was surrounded with endless mysteries and his vast knowledge made him stand out in the town immediately. When asked about the parents of his grandson , he will just sigh and shook his head , refusing to divulge any information about the parents.

"Me ..". Pat chuckled softly and shook his head.

"Am just an ordinary yeast farmer ". An extraordinary shade flashed in his eyes.

"Keep denying , perhaps one day , I will know your secret ". The other man punched Pat lightly on his shoulders and said.

Pat shook his head and said nothing while looking at the distance.

His eyes gradually softened as he watched Amon play with the green coloured butterflies and his Happy laughs echoe in the vast field.

"The life of a green coloured butterflies is extremely short but that did not prevent them from being happy and carefree , contributing to the growth of the yeast in the field.

Amon , I hope you will have the mindset of the green coloured butterflies because your path will be fraught with dangers and agony ". Pat muttered slowly as he clenched his fists tightly.

His brows furrowed slightly as he sank into deep thoughts .

Only him knew what he was thinking !

The After glows of the dimming sun shrouded his figure , making him appear desolate and lonely.
