Bryan sat in between his friends on the sitting room's - couch while they try to console him from leaving the family but he didn't seem to be really bothered about it. ' what's the essence of living in royalty when you aren't treated like one ?' he always says to them.

However, he was just so bothered about sasha who had given him the biggest shock of his life.

" It's gonna be okay bro, I promise. Am just so glad they didn't kill you before you realize it was time for you to leave that house.". Mark said as he examines the scars that bryan had gotten from the numerous beaten he had received in the house

" True bro, his life is much more important to us. I know it's been hard for you but don't worry, we are college buddies and you can stay with us as long as you want, okay ?" James added while Bryan was still staring at the television without saying a single word. He was still confused on how the beaten he received was Sasha's idea. He just couldn't believe it.

" So what's with the car outside ? You rode it down here and I was wondering where you got it from because it's look like an old cab "Mark asked

" I really don't know about that car too mike, am just as confused as you are. The Jing family kicked me out and when I was about leaving, Mrs pheona called me back to take it along with me as my only possession " Bryan broke the silence and said something

" What ? Your possession ? How come ? did anybody say anything about it to you ? " Surprised Mike asked

" Nope, no one said anything; neither have I even set my eyes on the strange car before now, but there was something strange in what Mrs said today. She said it was my fathers' but then, she kept quiet immedietely, like there was something she's hiding. it was as if she said it out of mistake," Bryan explained to the guys as they pay maximum attention to him. Both friends were confused

" How does she mean that it's your father's, I thought you were adopted when you were just a year old from the orphanage by Mr Jing, how come she knows about your dad ? " Mike asked as they all became confused to have heard him talked about his parent for the very first time but Bryan wasn't ready for any of the topic as he was still heartbroken.

" I think she was just drunk, that was all. She didn't know what she was saying at that point, so it was a slip of tongue," Bryan who couldn't explain further; said to his curious friends to end the questioning

" Okay, so what do you intend doing with it ? " Mike asked

" I wanna start working as a cab driver. that way, I will be able to make some income to sustain with," he gave a sound reply that left his friends in shock

" What ! Are you sure about that, someone from the jing family be........"

James was about to question Bryan's idea when they heard a hell of a noise outside. They could hear people screaming hysterically and they decided to take a look

" What's with the noise outside...." Mark asked and They all peeped through the window curiously but got blown away to see the famous wuyan being clouded by security and mob hailing her .

Wuyan is the daughter of Mr Warren— the CEO of austelin company which gave the Jing family 70 percent of it's wealth. Mr Warren who was ill has handed the company to his daughter to manage while she gets to understand it better. She is being followed by lots of security anywhere she goes and no one has ever seen her face to Know what she looks likes as she's always masked with a veil before going out.

Rumours had it that the idea of her being masked was from the age of 1, when the real founder of the austelin company was assassinated with his 1 year old son- who's body went missing.

Bryan and his friends couldn't take their gaze off her as she went into the store—followed by securities to get something before greeting the public. She kissed the babies that were given to her by obsessed fans of hers and even gave money to the less privileged.

" Wow, she's such a kind soul," James who was lust in her beauty said. Yes, no one knows what she looks like but her nice body shape and gestures already gave people the impression of how beautiful she was. Bryan had heard Hopper and Darlington wishing to have a chance with her. Some rumours had it that her face was disfigured with a terrible acid by the assassin's which led to her being masked but no one cares. All they want is to get married to her and get a position in the Austelin company, which would later be managed by her fully.

They watched as she gave her kind gestures to the public before getting into the car and rode away—followed by her massive convoy and screaming of the public

" Damn, I'm fucking gonna get married to this lady ! " James said and they bursted into laughter of how he had said the impossible

" And how are you gonna do that ? Mehn stop dreaming. She's turned down so many requests of influencial billionaire's and a nobody like you don't stand a chance " Mark replied and they all bursted into laughter again. There was no way he's gonna date someone who he literally can't get access to. How the hell is he gonna get through the securities, talk more of to profess his feelings to her.

The boys laughed over the whole issue and got back to the TV and after a while, Bryan then set out to go start his cab work that same day so he could get a little cash on him.

He was able to get a lot of passengers at first but as he drove into the city, the gaze of people at him was just so confusing. He discovered that old people who had been in the city for long stared at his car in a really strange way, but not with the case of the young passengers. Some even refused to enter the car and got him pissed off.

' you haven't seen a young cab driver before or you have a problem with the car' he angrily said to an old lady who stopped him but refused entering; with a strange look

' I think the car is the problem, I don't wanna be part of a generational curse ' she said in her shaky voice '' suit your self ''. He replied and drove off. Due to how frustrating and tiring the work became, he had to stop at a nearby bar to have a rest which took him hours as he got hooked up with a football match

Bryan was riding back home from work at about 10 pm, which he had decided not to take any passengers anymore when his eye caught a girl running out of a club and waving at him to stop. He drove past in speed but slowed down when he saw her being maltreaded by a muscular guy.

The guy clasped her arm; forcing her back into the club with him while she refuses

Bryan quickly halted and came out of his car- rushing to go meet her.

" Hey...let me go, I told you am not interested please " she pleaded with the guy who clasped her arm with a grin on his face.

" You just have to be interested. No lady has ever rejected me before. I want you this night and you have to submit to me " the guy said and licked his lips before Bryan came interrupting,

" Hey ..... what's happening here ? " Bryan cuts in

" And who are you to come out here ? " The guy asked in surprise but smiled when he saw Bryan's car parked. " So you later stopped uhhh ? well, nice try but I will advise you get out of here now ! "

" No I won't. Not until you let her go " he said and stared at the beautiful girl who looked so innocent.

" Haha, who the hell do you think you are ? get out of here now ! " The guy ordered Bryan angrily

" Sir don't leave me here, please, I will do anything you ask of me, " the pretty lady said to Bryan as the guy tries to drag her into the club, while his boys stood- laughing at the way she howled in fear but Bryan wasn't threatened by him and acted immedietely

" I said leave her alone " Bryan angrily punched the guy on the lips and he starts to bleed then the guys guards grabbed Bryan and the lady; restricting them from going. Bryan could see the rage on the face of the guy he punched and was definitely asking what he got himself into .

" You wanna be a hero huh, let's see how it goes " the guys all began punching Bryan so hard in the stomach while they made the lady watched him. She couldn't handle the way they hit him and she began crying

" Please let him go am begging you, this is between me and you ? " She pleaded with tears rolling down her cheek and suddenly the strength came to Bryan. He hits the nose of the guy holding him and punched the other on the face. The other one tried to attack but Bryan kicked him in the balls and he slumped on the ground

" Get him, dont let him get away." The muscular guy said as Bryan grabbed on the lady's arms and they both ran into the car and he zoomed off.

" Thank you so much, I'm really sorry for this. you are bleeding, should we just go to the hospital ? Promise to pay the bills," she asked worriedly

" Nah... Don't worry. I have gotten punched so many times so this isn't new " he said; remembering his struggles in the Jing family

Bryan replied — still driving. He looked at his mirror just so he could get a glimpse of her and his eyes met with hers. damn, she was so beautiful with tempting eye and a seductive lips . No wonder the guy wouldn't let her be: she was just like an angel in human form. So irresitable...

" So where am i taking you to ? I can drive you directly to your house if you want ? " He asked her

" Oh, no. I don't......"

" You don't have the money to pay ? well dont worry. I won't charge you, am just gonna do it for free, " he said and didn't allow her finish, which made her smile

" No I don't mean that. You can't take me to my place because you won't be allowed to enter " she responded

" What are you taking about, why ? ".

" Because I stay at Wembley's estate," she replied and he almost lost concentration

" What ? you stay at where ? Hahahah you gotta be kidding me" he loled in surprise. Wembley estate is the biggest in town and only people who are elites can stay there. Even as wealthy as Mr Jing family, they can't even afford the place for a year and here is a lady who he found in the city's local club saying she stays there."

" I know you won't believe me but please do remember to drop me off there. I can't afford missing it " she said while he was still laughing but nodded his head in agreement to try her

" No problem," he agreed and kept driving. He never wanted to argue with a lady but didn't believed her.

As they approach the estate, suddenly, flash lights were pointed on the car and armed men came out of nowhere, pointing guns at them.

" Who the hell are you. Surrender! " The securities yelled

" OMG, I think we are in trouble. We better get out of here now," he tries to turn the steering but she stopped him

" No wait, those are my guards. They are just bothered that I sneaked out of the house.

" Your guards ??? Who the hell are you ?" He asked in fear as the armed men approached them

" Am wuyan. The daughter of Mr Warren—CEO of Austelin company," she calmly said to him and he bursted into laughter

" What ? Hahaahaha, nice try but I don't think we should play this game here or we would be arrested...." Bryan replied her in tension and ignited the car to leave but he was too late. The guards already surrounded them . " Surrender and get out of the car now! do not let me repeat myself! " The security leader; said—pointing a gun at the car and fuming angrily

" OMG, we are dead....." Bryan groans unrelaxed as his heart began pounding. It was a criminal offence for commoners to approach the estate at that time of the night and he could get jailed for it. The lady saw how bothered he was and had to calm him down...

" Relax, ok, I got this. ....." She touched him softly and then stepped out of the car. " Bryan was watching to see what she was gonna do when she commanded the securities and they obeyed

" Drop your guns down," she commanded and Bryan was left in awe when the guards did it without hesitation

" Oh, miss wuyan. We are sorry. we didn't Know you were the one, " they senior security leader said as they all wear surprise faces

" I am the one so be calm " wuyan calmed the guards down and came back to Bryan who's mouth was open in shock and couldn't outer anything. She checked for his information on the dashboard and copied it in her phone before walking into the estate, escorted by the guards.. .(after giving him a sweet smile)

Bryan was numb. He couldn't believe he just picked up the famous wuyan that everyone had been talking about.

Immedietely, he drove back home. He couldn't wait to tell it to James and Mark...

" You dropped a girl off at Wembley estate ??? Like.... For real ? Nah bro you gotta be kidding me. No one from Wembley estate would board a cab; they are too big for that." Mark said to Bryan as he picks the TV remote to see the evening show

" So you guys don't believe me ? " Bryan who had be trying to explain to the guys, asked in frustration. They refused to believe him even after crossing his heart

" No Bryan, we don't. It soooo impossible you know. And even if it was true, what was the reason " James asked and Mark followed immedietely

" Are you sure of what you are talking about ? " Mark asked

" Yes bro, you gotta believe me. And this girl was no other than wuyan ! "

" What, come again... What wuyan are you talking about ?." They stared at him with their opened in surprised

" Wuyan of Austelin company of course,"

" Wait, same wuyan we saw today ? "

" Yes ! " Bryan said and both of his friends fell on the floor and laughing heavily. They were about giving him a little bit of attention before he mentioned wuyan and now they see him as crazy

" You might have been day dreaming bro, what would someone like wuyan be doing in a local street club ". Mark

" Oh maybe he invited her to have dinner with him ".....hahaha " James mocked as they both continued laughing uncontrollably. Bryan got up and walked to the room to have a sleep— leaving them at the sitting room. He knew they wouldn't Believe him. infact, no one will. Even him couldn't even tell if what he saw was real.

' but what would have brought her to a local club in town and looking so ordinary.' why was her face exposed, why wasn't it disfigured as people were saying ? '

He asked himself and fell on the bed in confusion— trying to solve the puzzle in his head when his phone bleeped and he quickly checked it just to see the sum of $100, 000 sent to him with a message reading...

He couldn't believe his eyes. Did she just paid for his services with a really huge amount of money, despite he told her not to bother ? She might have gotten his account details from his car dashboard.

Bryan slept with a different heart that night. He couldn't just explain If he was happy or shocked. What would his friends say when he shows them the message and the huge amount of money. Did he just became so rich overnight or what ? .
