Chapter 6 - Saffia's Death

"Mother... don't fight him. He is a strong man. We will die." Dramon tugged at his hand to escape.

"Go away, Dramon!"

"No. I'm not going to leave you!" Dramon said firmly. Even though the boy was a loser, he wouldn't let his mother die.

"Don't be stubborn at a time like this, Dramon! Go and take cover!"

Saffia turned to Zarlia. "You must be Dramon's friend, right? Please take him as far away from here as possible!"

"Alright." Saffia pulled Dramon's hand forcibly as he struggled.

"Let me go! I'm not going to leave my mother!" Dramon was crying hysterically.

"Don't disobey your mother!"

"Don't worry. I will definitely let you guys meet Ozel!" Roxy smiled mockingly.

"Get ready to go to hell to catch up with Ozel!" Roxy attacks Saffia.

There was a fierce battle between them.

Saffia ran while shooting the vicious man with thousands of arrows. However, his attacks always missed and didn't manage to hurt Roxy.

Roxy drew the Dark Dragon sword from its scabbard and chased after Sapphire. Roxy threw the blade into the air, causing it to spin around to catch up with Saffia, and she was injured.

Saffia fell to her knees with a groan.

Roxy stabbed Saffia's back without wasting a chance until the blade penetrated her chest.

Dramon couldn't believe what he had just seen. That's Zarlia.

"Damn it …!" Dramon's blue eyes turned fiery red. His hands clenched into fists, and his body trembled violently from raging rage.

Zarlia gaped in disbelief. "Isn't he the loser boy?"

White light resembling a giant dragon enveloped Dramon.

"Roxy, the White Dragon has revived." Laxodon's voice reached Roxy's ear.

Roxy smiled slyly. "That's good. I can't wait to fight him."

"Be careful! Dramon is not a little brat anymore if he transforms into a White Dragon."

Roxy chuckled derisively. "I am the High King. He is not my rival."

Dramon suddenly attacks Roxy from a blind spot. But Roxy swiftly slashed back. Without even looking, he had already predicted that Dramon would attack him with a cheap technique.

Zarlia was surprised by Dramon's change. How could that boy dare to go against the king, who was famous for his cruelty? Dramon deserves four thumbs up.

'Who exactly is that whiny boy? Why is he so strong?'

Zarlia was so absorbed in watching Dramon and Roxy fight that she forgot to help Saffia.

The fight was too fierce until Laxodon ordered Roxy to retreat immediately because they weren't equal yet.

"I will not back down!" Roxy opposes Laxodon without stopping to attack Dramon.

Dramon mastered the battle, so he managed to injure Roxy. The blazing rage triggered that power to emerge.

"Retreat! Do you want to die by his hands? If you die, all our efforts will be in vain!" Laxodon snapped.

"Ck! It sucks!" With a heavy heart, Roxy immediately opened a dimensional portal and ran away.

After Roxy left, Dramon's anger started subbing, and the white light disappeared.

"W-where am I? What happened?" Dramon clutched his dizzy and sore head. He immediately fell to the ground due to being drained of energy.

Zarlia immediately approached Dramon. "Who are you? Why didn't you tell me from the start that you were that son of a bitch's nephew?!" Zarlia was furious.

"What do you mean?" Dramon asked innocently.

"Don't act stupid! You've hidden your true identity from me! How dare you lie to me! Turns out you're a relative of my family's killer! I'm so sorry for helping you!" shouted Zarlia angrily. His chest was tight with pain.

"You're just wrong—" Dramon widened when he saw his mother lying dead.

"Mother!" Dramon was crying hysterically. He rushed to run towards Saffia, but Zarlia immediately intercepted him.

"I'm not done talking!"

"Get off me, Bastard!" Dramon pushed Zarlia down, then approached his mother.

Dramon knelt near Saffia. "Mother! Get up! Don't leave me!"

Saffia did not respond. His body didn't show any movement.

Dramon checked for pulses on Saffia's neck and wrists, but there was no pulse.

"Impossible!" Dramon shook Saffia's body to get up. "Mother can't die!"

Zarlia pulled Dramon's hand so he wouldn't come closer. "She's dead! Why are you crying over him? It's no use!"

"Remove your hand!" Dramon shook off Zarlia's hand harshly.

Dramon wept over his mother's grave. He was forced to bury his mother in the middle of the forest.

"I'm sorry, Mom. I can't protect you. I'm just a loser." Dramon spilled all his heart.

Zarlia watched Dramon from behind a tree. She is confused about herself. It's as if he doesn't want to be away from that boy even though now he hates him. Maybe because Zarlia was still curious about Dramon's origins.

Zarlia must investigate Dramon's identity. Is he really Roxy's niece? If true, he was determined to kill him.

But, when Zarlia remembers Dramon's mysterious power, she is forced to rack her brains to find a strategy to kill him.

Zarlia approached Dramon, who was still drowning in sorrow. "Stop it. Your mother won't get up if you keep crying."

"Go away! Leave me alone."

Zaleia chuckled derisively. "How? Don't you have a grudge against Roxy?"

Dramon glanced at Zarlia. The girl's words came back to his mind.

"You go find your mother! If your mother is killed by Xirna's troops, I want to see if you will keep your kindness alive!"

"Why?" Zarlia smiled contentedly. She could clearly see the hatred burning in Dramon's eyes.

"Do you still intend to kill Roxy?" Dramon changed the subject.

"Of course! Why?" Zarlia frowned.

"I will help you!"

Zarlia was wide-eyed.
