CHAPTER TWENTY-ONE

They sat in the living room of the mansion. All are in-laws looking at him. In surprise and in shame. But not grandmother. The woman was just hell bent on accusing him of kidnapping his wife.

But the rest seemed to be okay at the moment. Well, not completely, but they didn’t accuse him as she did.

“He could have kidnapped her and after seeing we are giving him a hard time, told that mistress of his to bring my granddaughter back,” she spoke, pacing up and down with her stick.

He just sat there, not daring to say anything. And he could have done whatever he wanted at this moment. Chase them out of his mansion because, after all, they have done nothing but bother him.

But again, they refused to drop the charges. Said they will not believe a word he was telling him. And they will do about anything for him to pay for everything they were accusing him to have done.

Micheal looked at him from where he was standing. Silently asking him again why he was tolerating this ungrateful family. But
