“Wait, back up a little. You said Mr. Noah helped you to marry her?” Micheal asked.

Trevor smiled and took a sip from his coffee. “Yes..” he began. He then went on and told Micheal all about what happened. How he was treated by the family after Mr. Noah died.

All the humiliation he went through by his wife’s friends and all her workmates. How Jackson never missed a chance to make sure he felt like he was a good-for-nothing person.

How his brothers-in-law treated him and how they beat him up when he went to the company. All he went through he explained to Micheal.

The man was just in awe the all time. At some point, his eyes even got watery.

Trevor smiled again, “man, it is really nothing. And I need you to be strong for me. I didn’t hire you to break down in court.”

“I’m not crying,” he argued.
